Pachakuti Ch’uri Blade of the World-Reversal

Zth’kaa’ri of Eternity

“The Song has been sung. The threads unravel. I am Tzalcoatl, the Weaver of Time. Behold my power, and walk where cause and effect collapse.”

Legendary Name & Power: Tzalcoatl, The Weaver of Time – People think it just makes them move insanely fast.

True Name & Power: Sword of Eternity – It doesn’t make them faster; it slows time for everything else, meaning they perceive themselves as moving at incredible speed.

Aspect: Time (The Flow of Events)

📍 Original Location: The Timeless Citadel (A structure that exists outside linear time, orbiting a dead star at the end of time itself) (The Aerie)

Current Bearer: Merlyn Emrys

This locks in Merlyn Emrys as a true master of time. The Aerie being the physical anchor for the Timeless Citadel is absolutely perfect.

If the Timeless Citadel exists outside of time, but its anchor is on Eden (Earth), then Merlyn can use it to step between moments effortlessly.

Does the Sword of Time keep the Citadel tethered to reality? If so, what happens if it is removed or broken? Does time itself collapse?

If Merlyn controls this Citadel, then he isn’t just a traveler through time—he is a guardian of it. If the Sword fell into the wrong hands, could time be rewritten?

Pros:

✅ Allows its wielder to move at super-speed.

✅ It appears to the bearer that they can freeze enemies.

Cons:

❌ The wielder is disconnected from linear time—aging randomly ranging from onset of puberty to old age, with each day waking up as a different age.

❌ Overuse risks shattering time itself.

❌ The wielder is unknowingly slowing time for everyone else, except those who ignore temporal changes (who will look/hunt for the person who keeps messing with Time).

Curse: The Rushing River

💀 Time feels faster and faster for the wielder, making moments of stillness unbearable.

💀 Overuse ages the bearer unnaturally—each second they move at super-speed steals a fraction of their own future.

💀 The world becomes frustratingly slow, making human interaction difficult and causing impatience or detachment.

Results on Bearer:

🔹 Their hair turns silver, regardless of age.

🔹 Their pulse follows an unnatural rhythm, slowing or quickening depending on the moment.

🔹 Their shadow moves ahead of them or lags behind, as if existing slightly out of sync.

🔹 The wielder’s perception of time distorts; they may respond to questions before they’re asked or forget events that haven’t happened yet.

🔹 Over time, they may become detached from linear time, existing in multiple eras at once, with memories from futures yet to come.

Pathfinder, The Traveler’s Blade

Zth’kaa’ri of Portals

“The Song has been sung. The door stands open. I am Pathfinder, the Traveler’s Blade. Behold my power, and step beyond all bounds.”

Legendary Name & Power: Pathfinder, the Traveler’s Blade – Allows its wielder to teleport between two known locations.

True Name & Power: Sword of Portals – Eventually unlocks the ability to create portals to anywhere, including across dimensions.

Aspect: Space (The Expanse of Reality)

Appearance: At first, the blade looks like it has been etched with a map of the world. But once the blade has traveled to another planet or into space itself, it becomes a blade made of shifting galaxies, its length and shape constantly adjusting.

📍 Original Location: The Event Horizon of a Black Hole – Trapped beyond the point of no return, where light itself bends.

Pros:

Grants instantaneous travel anywhere in the cosmos.

Can cut through dimensions, pocket realms, and illusions.

Allows its wielder to exist in multiple locations at once.

Cons:

The wielder’s perception becomes unanchored, seeing infinite possibilities at once.

Using it in the wrong place could collapse reality.

Must never be drawn in the presence of another cosmic weapon, or it could tear existence apart.

Curse: The Wandering Soul

💀 The sword does not belong to any one person. It disappears and reappears at will, often abandoning bearers at inconvenient times.

💀 The wielder feels an increasing urge to move—staying in one place too long makes them feel restless, even sick.

💀 They often lose their sense of home, as the Sword’s nature keeps them untethered from the world.

Result on Bearer:

🔹 Their irises reflect distant galaxies, showing glimpses of the cosmos.

🔹 Their voice carries a slight echo, as if spoken through the vastness of space.

🔹 Their footsteps make no sound, as if gravity struggles to hold them.

🔹 Over time, they risk becoming unstuck in reality, fading into multiple dimensions at once.

Pathos, The Crying Blade

Zth’kaa’ri of Dreams, The End of Tears

“The Song has been sung. The dream breaks. I am Pathos, the Crying Blade. Behold my power, for sorrow is the sharpest truth.”

Legendary Name & Power: Pathos, The Crying Blade

True Name & Power: Sword of Dreams aka The End of Tears

Aspect: Emotion (The Power of Feeling)

Appearance: A silver blade that weeps red tears, its edge forever damp with blood that is not its own.

📍 Original Location: The Dreamscape of the Last Sleeper – A place where the first dreamer still dreams, and nightmares walk freely.

Pros:

✅ Allows the wielder to manipulate emotions—they can inspire hope, love, or fear with a mere gesture.

✅ Can manifest memories and dreams into reality.

✅ Grants perfect empathy, letting the wielder feel the emotions of others as if they were their own.

✅ Can restore lost knowledge, skills, and forgotten legacies.

✅ Allows the wielder to summon echoes of fallen warriors and lost civilizations.

✅ A powerful tool for historians, seers, and strategists.

✅ Can bring back what was erased, including identities and erased souls.

Cons:

❌ The wielder experiences every emotion at once, making it difficult to control their own feelings.

❌ Prolonged use causes emotional breakdowns, as the wielder absorbs the pain and suffering of the world.

❌ The blade can be turned against its wielder, making them feel unbearable sorrow or rage.

❌ Cannot resurrect the dead, only create echoes of their former selves.

❌ The wielder may become trapped in the past, unable to move forward.

❌ Restoring lost things may disrupt the present or create paradoxes.

❌ Some things are meant to stay forgotten—bringing them back may have dire consequences.

Curse: The Weight of Truth

💀 The sword reveals all hidden things, but knowledge is a burden—the bearer is constantly haunted by truths they wish they didn’t know.

💀 Secrets flow unbidden into their mind, making them question their own thoughts and memories.

💀 Over time, wielders become isolated, as they cannot relate to those unaware of deeper cosmic truths.

Result on Bearer:

🔹 Their tears turn red, as if weeping blood.

🔹 Their heartbeat echoes with the emotions of those nearby.

🔹 They become impossibly charismatic, yet unbearably tragic.

🔹 Over time, they risk becoming an emotional conduit, feeling everything but experiencing nothing of their own.

🔹 The wielder sometimes speaks in the voices of those long dead, and their dreams are filled with memories that are not their own.
