Born on August 26^th, 2043, Charlotte was home-schooled her whole life. An inquisitive and kind-hearted young girl, Charlotte would try out different activities like soccer, volleyball, ballet and theater.

It was during her 15^th birthday party when Charlotte's magic manifested in a most spectacular way. Encased in a cocoon of pure magic, tendril and balls of wild magic lashed out as guests dove for cover. Her brothers best friend, Joshua Gardner was the only one to be hit by one of those balls of energy.

Charlotte had no knowledge of this until hours later she came out of her cocoon with magical powers and a set of glowing wings. Her parents knew right away that normal life for their daughter was out of the question and they could not provide the training or space she would require. So they gave her permission to join the vaunted T.I.T.A.N.S. Academy.

Combining the name of two of her birthstones, Charlotte took the codename, Peridella, and moved onto the Academy grounds. Every day there she must face Chirurgeon, a product of what would happen if she did not learn control over her abilities. And every time she sees him she renews her determination to never ruin another persons life, like she feels she did to him.

Bouncing:

Peridella has the ability to teleport (or, as she calls it, "bounce") vast distances without error, or even needing to know the layout of her destination. She does so by appearing and disappearing in a burst of pink-purple dust (though not the same as her Fairy Dust). She is only able to teleport herself because no other living objects could survive bouncing. She is considered by Fibre to be the most powerful teleporter that she has ever encountered.

Fairy Dust:

Peridella has a pair of wings that have magical properties of their own. So far the only one she has produced consciously is hallucinogenic dust. Her wings produce spores which cause powerful visual and auditory hallucinations in her victims. This dust effects others by being inhaled or through skin-contact. Often the hallucinations are calming and pleasant images such as teddy bears, bubbles and unicorns. At this time, Peridella does not have control over what her victims see.

Magic:

Peridella is a member of the Homo Magi on her mother's side. She is still early in her studies of magic as her parents have a difficult time believing in it. However, they have agreed to send her to The T.I.T.A.N.S. Academy to be trained in order to avoid accidents.

Accelerated Healing: Peridella also has some degree of accelerated healing. When she was shot in the belly with a bullet intended for Almaeisha Almawt during a training mission, she healed completely mere minutes later. She apparently heals faster while teleporting.

Sensor Bypass: The ability to bypass security systems, as she is able to enter Fibre's home without triggering any of the many alarms, a feat not even Vigilante or Angãraka have been able to achieve.

Spell Casting: In a rare visit to the Academy Spector took Peridella aside and taught her a sleeping spell. So far it is the only spell she knows.

Superhuman Strength: Though her full strength has not been measured, she has been able to toss her fellow Academy members across the room during sparring sessions.

Dancing: Peridella is good at dancing (at least according to herself).

Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): During her tenure with the Academy, Peridella has received martial arts training from Tanager. Even if still lacking the skills and the experience of her teammates, Peridella has improved enough to be able to defend herself, and even to beat more experienced meta-mutants.

Dagger of the Spirit:

Instantaneously formed when she wills it, this Dagger is a physical manifestation of her soul. According to Spector, who revealed its source, the dagger can be used in any of the following uses:

Counter/Break Spell: When Peridella uses the Dagger to strike a person who is possessed, ensorcelled, or otherwise magically controlled or transformed, the Dagger will be able to counter or break the spell.

Strike the Supernatural: The Dagger has been shown to only harm magical creatures or objects -- it rarely injures non-magical beings or items.

Candidacy: Though she is unaware of it, Peridella is a possible candidate for Archimage status among the Homo Magi.

Costume: The costume you see was designed for her by Vespa who enjoyed making clothes for another "winged wonder".

Meta-Mutantcy Hybrid: Though it has been confirmed that her mother is a member of the Homo Magi, testing shows that her father may be an inactive meta-mutant making Peridella a hybrid. She is the third known case of the new category: Meta-Magi.

Physical Features: Peridella has pointed ears that she keeps hidden by her long hair.

Wings: Despite the image giving the impression she has six wings, in fact she has one set. Shaped like butterfly wings, the irridescent and sparkling wings are magical in nature and can retract completely into her back. Another magical aspect of them is her wings are not large enough to carry her weight so it is believed that her magic compensates by somehow cancelling gravity.
