My fellow citizens of Wakaskató,

We have lost much-far too much. Entire cities have been swallowed by the sea. The firestorm that followed the Atomic Particle Wave reshaped our lands, our rivers, our very sense of place. Our ancestors' mountains have crumbled, and new ones have risen in their place. And among the ashes, our people-our family, our friends, our loved ones-have been taken from us in numbers we cannot yet comprehend.

I grieve with you. I mourn with you. And I will stand with you until our last breath. But that last breath is not yet here.

I ask you now to look beyond the ruins. To listen beyond the silence. For our world is still alive. The rivers still run, though they carve new paths. The trees still stand, though they may grow in strange lands. The winds still whisper, though they now carry new stories. And we, the People, still stand.

In these dark days, the stories of our ancestors return to us-not as distant echoes, but as a guide. Our elders taught us that the land is not something we own, but something we are bound to. That nature is not something we control, but something we walk alongside. And now, as Wakaskató rises again, it is those lessons that will carry us forward.

We have always been a people of resilience, of renewal. Our nation was built on the promise that all who seek harmony will find a home here. We are the children of the First Nations, of those exlporers who crossed oceans seeking hope, of those who built lives from the soil and stone of this land. We are the voice of inclusion, of unity, of unyielding strength. And today, we reaffirm that spirit.

Yes, the world is changing. We have seen the emergence of those touched by forces we do not yet understand-Tribal Legacies, as they are coming to be called. We do not know yet what they will mean for our future, but I say to you this: they are our people-our brothers, our sisters, our children. Just as we have embraced all who call this land home, so too will we embrace them.

To those still on the surface, to those who could not reach shelter in time-I speak to you now: You are not forgotten. We will find you. We will protect you. And when the time comes, when the land settles and the storms calm, we will rise together.

I do not promise that the road ahead will be easy. But I promise you this: Wakaskató will not fall. We will rebuild. We will heal. And we will emerge stronger than ever before.
