History
Written by: Joshua W. Murcray

Born in the mid-to-late 38th Century, B'Ngalo was the chieftain of the Tiger Clan, a clan that covered most of modern day Korean Union. The area had finally been cleansed of nuclear fallout thanks to the Tiger God as well as the Rabbit God of China and the Snake Goddess of India.

But then outside-man invaded to take the land and terraform it to a city of industry, stripping it of its natural resources.

Once more B'Ngalo joined with the Tiger God and became the defender of his people and land. But this would prove to be the last time, for man had developed a deadly new virus that, when injected, would slowly transform living material into an organic technology that could be reprogrammed and controlled. This cyber-virus, as it was known, allowed man to keep animals, without them being wild, and have the illusion of living in harmony with the animal kingdom.

Cyberian before the VirusAs B'Ngalo attacked what was supposed to be a small encampment of soldiers, he found too late that it had been a trap. Suddenly four men emerged from a tent with rifles in hand, aiming for B'Ngalo.

He turned to run but it was too late. Four shots rang out and four points of pain shot through B'Ngalo. Stumbling, he almost did not make it back to his tribe's hidden underground defense base.

It was there that he found he could stem the spread of the cyber-virus that he had been shot with, by portioning his telekinetic powers. An A.I. program, called S.E.L.M.A. was downloaded into his cybernetic parts in order to help hold the spread at bay. But there was another problem that was of more urgency. The cyber-virus somehow blocked his ability to separate from the Tiger God. The two of them were one until a cure could be found to stop the spread of the cyber-virus.

It was days later that word came that man had found an entrance to their underground city. It was only a matter of time before they were all captured or turned into androids. They must use the device called The Second Future and send someone back in time to warn everyone of man's invasion...before it begins.

B'Ngalo as the Tiger God would be the obvious choice to get the past tribes to listen and heed his warning. With the last of their energy stores, they activated the device and B'Ngalo vanished in a shower of quantum particles just as the army of man broke into the lab and began firing a spray of cyber-darts.

But the device was not coded to handle the cyber-virus and the "slipslide" overcompensated. When everything settled, B'Ngalo found himself in the year 2057 PB, 1,725 years before he would even be born.

Now, trapped in the past until the cyber-virus is removed and the Tiger God's full powers are restored and they can return to their time, B'Ngalo, now calling himself Cyberian, must convince the Guardian Tribes, and perhaps even man, that the future can change and maybe, just maybe, the lives of all animals on Eden can be saved.

Gifts

(See The Grid)

Hereditary Secret:

As chieftain (king), Cyberian is entitled to drink a special potion that granted him superhuman acute senses and increases his strength, speed, stamina, and agility to the peak of human potential.

Vessel of the Tiger God:

Upon the death of his father, B'Ngalo called on the Tiger God through mystical means who then granted B'Ngalo the honor of being his vessel. At which point the Tiger God entered B'Ngalo and transformed him into a living god. As such, B'Ngalo gained the following enhancements:

Agility: ENHANCED

Durability: LIMITED REGENERATION

Land Speed: ENHANCED

Stamina: SUPERHUMAN

Strength: ENHANCED

Telepathy:

As the Tiger God, B'Ngalo also gained strong telepathic powers that he uses to keep the peace within his land, as well as to bring down those who practice evil. However, since his cyber-virus infection, he has slowly lost many of his formidable mental powers. Those that remain, for now are:

Astral Projection: Ability to astral travel and communicate with others astrally through his own will or through contact with the thoughts and memories of others. In the Astral Plane, he can use his powers to create "ectoplasmic" objects.

Mental Amnesia: Ability to cause loss of particular memories and amnesia in another person or even in a group of people.

Mental Detection: Can sense the presence of a meta-mutant within a large, but as yet undefined radius of himself, by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.

Psionic Shield: Ability to erect a psychic shield for protection of himself and of others minds. Cyberian has proven very difficult to psychically assail, as he is very well skilled in shielding his own mind from mental-attacks (such as attempts to read, control or harm his own mind), and has been sufficient to protect himself from other psychics.

Telepathic Camouflage: Ability to mask himself and other people's presence from those around him. Can telepathically disguise himself, making his appearance to those around him quite different (changing the appearance of clothing, as well as more involved disguising).

Telepathic Cloak: Can mask his presence from being detected by others. Can extend these defenses to others around him as well, though the number he can affect is slowly dwindling. Cyberian's abilities can, at times, go undetected or be counteracted by other more powerful telepaths, depending on their level of skill in using their own psi abilities.

Telekinesis:

Cyberian possesses high-level telekinesis enabling him to manipulate matter with the energy of his thoughts. Capable of very fine control over objects, including himself. This ability has proven extremely valuable for helping stem the tide of the cyber-virus. His telekinetic abilities include:

Intuitive Aptitude: Can disassemble complex devices explosively (separating every last component, such as screws, nuts, circuit boards, etc.) and, just as quickly, easily assemble complex devices.

Matter Alteration: Telekinetic ability to alter molecular and subatomic structures in his own techno-organic components.

Tactile Telekinesis: Cable can use his telekinesis to enhance his already impressive physical practices to superhuman levels.

Telekinetic Flight Speed: SUBSONIC: By levitating himself, he can "fly" for very long distances and at varying speeds.

Telekinetic Healing: due to his vast experience holding the cyber-virus from spreading across his body, Cyberian has become quite adept at knitting closed wounds including repairing blood vessels, nerves, muscles and tissue.

Cyber-Virus Physiology:

Much of Cyberian's body has been infiltrated and altered by the cybernetic-virus, which has taken the form of cybernetics and bionics, meaning he is a cyborg. The primary infection resides in Cyberian's shoulders and arms. As a consequence of his telekinetic guidance and his ability to control his own physical substance, Cyberian's entire body has been heavily fortified, down to the cellular level, rendering superhuman strength to an unknown degree, as well as a superhuman level of resistance to physical harm. His entire skeletal structure has been replaced by porous, marrow-filled organic metalloid bone replacements that do not interfere with the creation of erythrocytes (red blood cells).

His entire CNS (Central Nervous System) has been augmented by chemical changes down to the atomic level and by bio-computer enhancement, rendering his reaction time far above what is possible for a human being. His now superhuman attributes include:

Cybernetic Limbs: Both of his arms are completely mechanical allowing him to curl and dead-lift several tons. Both of his legs are partially cybernetic, allowing him to leap higher than he previously was capable of. There are signs of the cyber-virus spreading as his feet are not yet cybernetic, which shows promise that his telekinetic blocks are holding it at bay...for now.

Cybernetic Eye: This cybernetic eye permits Cyberian to see deep into the EM (Electro-Magnetic) spectrum, and far deeper than any known 21st-22nd century technologies are capable of. It is also possible that through this eye, Cyberian is able to see the deployment of psionic energies, as well as the less exotic spectra of electromagnetic energies.

Cybernetic Restoration: Through a combination of his telekinetic abilities, and his ability to rearrange the atomic structures of matter (including his own cyber-virus matter), Cyberian is able to rapidly repair any damaged components within his body. However, if there is widespread damage, this may not be possible, as he may be unable to muster the energy to affect these repairs. Cyberian is also able to rapidly redesign and improve his cybernetic and bionic components. On-the-spot improvisations has allowed him to create a variety of microcomputers in his totally mechanized arms that do such things as allow him to physically interface with exterior computers, up-link/download to computers he has hidden underground, and even permit cellular communications and high-speed, broadband, wireless Internet access.

Agility: SUPERHUMAN: MALLEABILITY

Invulnerability: As the vessel of the Tiger God B'Ngalo is invulnerable to any force less powerful than a point-blank tank blast.

Reflexes: ALT-ENHANCED

Stamina: META-ENHANCED: Cyberian possesses superhuman physical endurance, just as he does superhuman levels of mental endurance. He is capable of exerting himself at peak levels (fighting full-out, sprinting, etc.) for several hours, before fatigue begins to visibly impair his performance. He is also capable of going extended periods of time without sleep, being fully capable of fully resting with not much over an hour of sleep. However, whenever both possible and feasible, Cyberian still chooses to sleep for hours at a time (approximately 6 – 8), in order to dream. This high endurance has had other effects on his body, making even his soft tissues extremely durable, and more than up to the task of rendering him virtually immune to conventional firearms and conventional firearm munitions.

Land Speed: SUBSONIC: In spite of his great size and impressive build, Cyberian is literally fast enough to evade high-powered bullets in-flight (after they have been fired), and even has the ability to visually track rounds after they have been fired (though they are not easy to see, except through his cybernetic eye). This great speed is also visible in superhuman levels of dexterity and agility, including manual and pedal dexterity.

Cyber-active Manipulation: Cyberian learned from Elbarani, that through the use of his TK to manipulate the virus swimming through his biology, that he can also manipulate foreign cyber-virus substances to a similar degree.

Skill(s)

(See The Grid)

Gadgetry

Intelligence: META-ENHANCED: Cyberian has a diploma in law and is also in possession of an education provided by the Clan Tawky, which is far in advance of modern era conventional education, especially in the sciences. After being infected with the Cyber-Virus Cyberian has been able to gain in intelligence and process his thoughts faster than before.

Fighting Skills: ENHANCED: Cyberian was a highly accomplished warrior and battle strategist, highly adept in many forms of hand-to-hand combat and in the use of a variety of weaponry from both the modern era and the late 37th-early 39th century.

Teleportation: By "Slipsliding", Cyberian can teleport or "slipslide" to virtually any area, with a limited number of passengers.

Weaknesses

Mind's Interconnection: The minds of B'Ngalo and the Tiger God are intertwined and sometimes one will take over causing confusion.

Cyber-Virus: Cyberian must constantly sacrifice a portion of his telekinetic powers by using them to restrain the cyber-virus from spreading. If he should lose that battle, his entire body would become a lifeless android and both B'Ngalo and the Tiger God would die.

Equipment

S.E.L.M.A.: A Sentient Electronic Life-Model Assistant that he can interact with to better access his "Slipsliding" abilities and interface with A.I. transmissions within the localized airwaves, through S.E.L.M.A. Cyberian can also synthesize a poison suppressant as well as other complex chemical elements with which to repress other virulent concoctions.

Weapons

Claws: His claws are strong enough to cut through most known metals.

Fangs: He has shown that his fangs are sharp enough and strong enough to rip a tire off of a military vehicle and can tear apart the treads of a tank.

Knives: Cyberian normally carries a pair of knives as his weapons of choice.

Trivia

(Physical Features/Speaking Voice/Likely Vocabulary/Characteristics/Mannerisms)

Vegetarian: Despite being a tiger in form, Cyberian is a vegetarian. It turns out that meat causes his animalistic side to become stronger, thereby reducing his telekinetic powers, which causes the cyber-virus to spread.

Unique Smell: On one occasion The Huntsman remarked that Cyberian smells like Old Spice for some reason.

Voice: If the Amalgam Universe 2.0 were to become a cartoon, the voice of Cyberian should be Isaiah Mustafa.
