History

Written by: Mike de la Cruz

His name is Bolo Aurssettl. He is the Doombringer. The (self-proclaimed) Eternal Slaughterer. The VANQUISHER! But he refers to himself as The Main Champion. He was born on the lost planet of Acrindo in the faraway nebula of Czarnia billions of years ago. His people were the ancient ones who dominated over the other races, bred for war, bathed in blood. Bolo was the best of them all. His bloodthirstiness outshines the most violent of the ancients.

At the young age of only 1,022, he got bored of being told who to kill and destroy and before venturing out on his own, single-handedly killed nearly every living being on Acrindo. There is only one survivor of that devastation. After that he ventured out into the universe searching for a worthy challenge. He has destroyed both so-called gods and puny, mortal men alike. None have stood against his mighty wrath. That is why he calls himself the Main Champion!

Until one fateful day when he met a young mortal girl named Lady Robinpool. He challenged her, while she was on a mission in the vastness of space, and attacked her on sight. As fast and agile as she was nothing she did could hurt him. A bullet felt like an insect bite to him. A sword slash broke against his skin like it was made of feathers. Finally, she turned and challenged HIM!! Never has Bolo been willingly challenged before and, of course, he did not back down! Why, any warrior, with any backbone at all, accepts ALL challenges, no matter how impudent they may seem.

She told him that it was "a warriors game". That any warrior, worth his salt, would accept the challenge of ,"Tic-Tac-Toe". To Bolo, the game was too simple, too easy! And it didn't seem violent at all! He thought that once he beat her at her childish game, he would rip out her entrails and feast on them for her disrespect! He was given the honor of O's to go second. She placed an X in the middle, then he put O on the top right. She placed X on the bottom right. He placed O on the bottom left. She finished with X on the top left making her the winner.

Classic misdirection!

He was furious!!!

He would kill her but she has won this match and thus earned the chance to flee. But he would track her down. Time and time again they would cross paths, only for her to once more slip through his fingers. Sometimes, literally!

Until one day he followed her through a portal into a strange dimension where she once again played him the fool. Lady Robinpool distracted him by getting him involved in a tremendous fight against some purple being with a ugly chin known as "The Mad Titan". Then, just as he finally put this grim Titan down, placing his foot on his foes head, he glanced around and saw his true enemy. His rage grew in full force as he remembered her trickery of the Tic Tac Toe game and he charged toward her.

So enraged was he that he did not notice the golden, jeweled glove on her hand. She closed her eyes and snapped her fingers and in a flash of light he suddenly found himself stranded in a mirror prison with no means of escape! But he will soon break out and she will rue the day that she challenged The Main Champion!

Powers

Acrindo Physiology:

It is said that Acrindovians can only be truly killed by other Acrindovianss. Though this does not matter to Bolo as Death cannot take him.

The Power Primordial:

While Vanquisher was in an alternate universe, before he came upon Lady Robinpool and the Mad Titan, Vanquisher encountered an Elder of that universe who was endowed with the "Power Primordial", the residual energy left over from the Big Bang that created that universe. Upon the Elders death, his powers, the "Power Primordial", were transferred into Bolo. While the energy itself is vast, it takes years of intensive training to purposely channel the energy to grant each of the Elders the various superhuman physical, mental, or energy manipulative capabilities that they possess. Thus, as powerful as he is, Vanquisher has potential to increase in power.

Immortality: Death itself cannot take him. Not because Death hates him, but because Death lost a fight with Vanquisher and, as a result, was forced by pact to promise that Death itself will never come for him. He is immune to the effects of aging and disease and cannot be killed. Even though it is possible to injure him, no injury, no matter the severity, can prevent him from recovering fully. Prior to Death's promise, he was still immune to aging and disease. He also did not require air, food, or water because the Power Primordial was all that sustained him.

Invulnerability: He has at times shrugged off blows from the likes of Superion with no damage, taken planet-destroying attacks as just a scratch but, at other occurrences, has had his skin penetrated by bullets (Lady Robinpool will pay for that!) and had only slight resistance against most magic spells and attacks. He is also fully capable of surviving in the vacuum of deep space indefinitely.

Regeneration: If, on the off-chance, Bolo does sustain an injury, his accelerated healing enables him to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue almost instantly, with little apparent pain. It looks like he can heal from any injury. For example, Bolo once regenerated out of a pool of his own blood, apparently recycling the cells. The speed of regeneration has also varied based on wounds and cause of wounds.

Superhuman Agility - Superhuman Reflexes - Superhuman Speed

Superhuman Stamina: Bolo' highly advanced musculature is considerably more efficient than the musculature of a human being, producing far less fatigue toxins during physical activity. On his own, Bolo can exert himself physically for at least several days before the build-up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. After receiving the Powers Primordial, the efficiency of his muscles was increased to the point that they produced almost no fatigue toxins. As a result, he has near limitless superhuman stamina allowing him to exert himself for months at a time before tiring.

Superhuman Strength: His strength varies greatly, and his limits are virtually unknown. On his own, he was capable of lifting at least 100 tons. However, his strength was increased to much higher levels while in possession of the Powers Primordial. Now, he can lift far in excess of 100 tons. He once destroyed an entire planet by delivering a single punch after jumping several miles into the air.

Self-Sustenance: Bolo does not need any food, water, air, and he can survive in the vacuum of space without any harm.

Thermal Immunity: According to Bolo's own words, he can "ride through the cold of space and the heat of blazing suns".

Abilities

Adept in Combat: Vanquisher claims he has mastered countless styles of combat and martial arts from all over the universe. However, he seems to stick to boxing for his challenges. Nevertheless, he is a formidable combatant.

Genius Level Intellect: As unbelievable as it may seem, despite his violent and loutish nature, Bolo seems to have a genius-level intellect in matters of destruction and violence. He can create complex virulent agents and the necessary antidotes to them such as the one he let loose on the planet NIo[w, resulting in the deaths of the entire population in the span of one week.

Mechanical Aptitude: He was also able to scavenge parts from a destroyed Mobius-class Time Bubble, and attach them to his own Hover Hog, producing a working dimensional transport.

Tracking: His tracking ability allows him to trace any prey across even the vastness of space.

Multilingualism: By his own account, Bolo can speak 17,897 different languages from across the galaxy.

Morse Code: Bolo can communicate in Morse Code.

Indomitable Will

Paraphernalia

Hover Hog: Although he can breathe in space, he can not fly and needs his custom built transport to move from planet to planet.

Weapons

Chain Gun: Though he employs a wide arsenal of firearms, explosives and blades, Bolo's signature weapon is the Chain Gun. Like a enlarged grappling gun, this almost harpoon size hand-held weapon fires a sharpened, finned spike that trails a chain behind, allowing Vanquisher to climb walls, impale prey, or use to puncture escaping transports and reel them back in close.

Way Too Many Weapons to List

Weaknesses

Unpredictable Temperament: Bolo loves to fight, loses patience easily, is very arrogant and does not get along in a group.

Moral Code: Bolo is an infallible man of his word. He will never break a contract, even if it means his "death". However, experience has taught him to choose his words carefully to allow for loopholes.

Loophole: He does not yet realize that Death only promised to not come for him. He still can die, just not at the hands of Death. Death will not come to collect him, but Vanquisher can still be brought to Death.

Hunted: There is only one other "survivor" of his home planet and she is hunting him with the intention of removing him from existence.
