Ultra-Energy Empowerment:

When Ultra-Marine first put on all the rings, it caused his body to become a living battery of energy he simply called, "Ultra-Energy". Ultra-Marine can utilize the Ultra-Energy in his body in a variety of ways, but only for one use at a time. He can change his empowerment at any time almost immediately but he must make a conscious choice first.

Chi Manipulation: Ultra-Marine can survive for years without food and water by living on stored Chi.

Flash Vision: Ultra-Marine can project beams of concentrated thermal energy from his eyes. Flash Vision works along the same properties as Superion's Heat Vision. He rarely uses this ability as more than one Ring can do something similar.

Ultra-Aura: Ultra-Marine's ultra-energy radiates an aura, which protects his clothing from being torn when invulnerable, and from burning-up from the friction when traveling at super-speed.

Ultra-Breath: Ultra-Marine possesses the ability to create hurricane force winds by blowing, and to chill his breath in order to freeze a target.

Ultra-Flight: Ultra-Marine can fly through space by manipulating the gravitational field of the universe. He still requires his Vortex Beam Ring for flight on Earth.

Ultra-Invulnerability: When using this power, he is impervious to harm by nuclear forces. If propelled at sufficient force, by either his flight or being tossed, Ultra-Marine can use his ultra-hard body like a human missile.

Ultra-Speed: Ultra-Marine can run at a velocity many times greater than that of a normal human being.

Ultra-Stamina: Ultra-Marine can sustain prolonged physical exertion without tiring or undo strain for an indeterminate period.

Ultra-Strength: When Ultra-Marine uses this power he is many times stronger than usual. His strength makes him the equal of a Attikyrptian or Stronxamitian. Even without this power activated he is equal to an athlete of the same height and weight who engages in intense regular exercise.

Ultra-Vision: Ultra-Marine's ultra-vision allows him to see through solid matter. This vision power enables him to see through lead, unlike X-ray which is possessed by SUPErMn and SUPRgIrL. As part of his same ultra-vision power, Ultra-Marine can use Telescopic Vision, in combination with ultra-vision if desired. He also has Microscopic Vision and is able to analyze fingerprints. He has also demonstrated the ability to see in the dark with Ultra-Vision.

Historian: Ultra-Marine is extremely knowledgeable on ancient history, specifically that of Preăhréachéanachăk Kămpŭchéa, the People's Republic of China and other Asian countries.

Martial Arts: Ultra-Marine is a superb athlete with tremendous skill in the various martial arts.

Mechanical Aptitude: Ultra-Marine possesses a passing knowledge of electronic and mechanical engineering.

Multilingual: Ultra-Marine is fluent in various languages most notably Cambodian, English and Mandarin Chinese.

Science: Ultra-Marine possesses a small degree of knowledge in the arena of Bio-Physics.

Super-Genius Intelligence: Ultra-Marine is one of the world's greatest scientific geniuses. Not only has he made himself into an authority on alien science, but he has also built upon this knowledge by making further discoveries based upon it.

Sacred Rings:

The rings that Jonah Zhang found in his raid of the temple at Angkor Wat, were considered sacred to the local people. Unbeknownst to any of them, including Jonah Zhang, the rings were crafted by an ancient alien using metal from their crashed starship. Each ring grants the wearer specific powers, and when they are all worn at once they grant the wearer access to cosmic energy that alters the wearer on a genetic level. Those innate abilities, however, cannot be used all at the same time. And their strength begins to fade the longer the wearer goes without wearing even a single ring.

Each ring's special abilities have caused Ultra-Marine to name them. Below is a description of each Ring, their Names, and on which finger it is worn.

DISCLAIMER:
Not all rings have images as Ultra-Marine, and the temple that cared for them before, jealously guard them, making it difficult to get a good look at them.

Matter-Rearranger Ring aka Manipulator (Right Thumb): This Ring allows Ultra-Marine to manipulate the atomic and molecular structures of matter. However, it cannot transmute elements or affect objects encased in force or energy fields.

_____Molecular Rearrangement: Rearrange costume and/or alter appearance.

_____Poison Gas: Ultra-Marine may transform the surrounding air into a Toxic gas.

_____Solidify Gas: Ultra-Marine may solidify the air around opponents, encasing them in blocks of cement-like material.


Impact Beam Ring aka Impulse (Right Index Finger): This Ring allows Ultra-Marine to generate and project various beams of concussive force.

_____Force Blast: Ultra-Marine may project blasts of concussive energy. Similar to an Electron Beam or Neutron Beam.

_____Sonic Beam: Ultra-Marine may project waves of high-intensity sound.


Vortex Beam Ring aka Vortex (Right Middle Finger): The ring causes the air to move about at high speed in a vortex. The vortex can be used as an offensive weapon, as a means of levitating objects, or as a means of propelling Ultra-Marine through the air.




Disintegration Beam Ring aka Vanisher (Right Ring Finger): This ring allows Ultra-Marine to project a beam of energy capable of destroying the bonds between the atoms and molecules, causing inanimate objects to disintegrate. This ring must recharge for 20 minutes after each use.




Black Light Ring aka Nightfall (Right Little Finger): This Ring allows Ultra-Marine to create an area of darkness, presumably using Dark Matter energy to do so.



White Light Ring aka Intensity (Left Thumb): This ring allows Ultra-Marine to generate and manipulate various forms of electromagnetic energy.

_____Light Burst : Ultra-Marine may generate bursts of high intensity light to blind opponents.

_____Gravity Field: Ultra-Marine may encase opponents in a field of heavy gravity, pinning them to the surfaces.

_____Magnetic Levitation: Ultra-Marine may utilize electromagnetic fields to levitate and manipulate objects.

_____Image Projection: Ultra-Marine may project holographic illusions. He can also produce multiple images to confuse an opponent or make a substantially larger version of himself.


Flame-Blast Ring aka Ignitor (Left Index Finger): This ring allows Ultra-Marine to project blasts of infrared to produce flame or ignite combustible materials.





Electro-Blast Ring aka Dianmu (Left Middle Finger): This ring allows Ultra-Marine to project blasts of Electrical Energy.



Mento-Intensifier Ring aka Mentallo (Left Ring Finger): This ring magnifies Ultra-Marine's psionic energies, allowing him to mentally manipulate the thoughts and actions of others.

_____Mental Illusions: Ultra-Marine may psionically generate illusions within the minds of others. These illusions are very realistic and can affect all the senses (vision, hearing, taste, touch and smell).

_____Mental Paralysis: Ultra-Marine may psionically manipulate the minds of others, temporarily paralyzing them.


Ice Blast Ring aka Sub-Zero (Left Little Finger): This ring allows Ultra-Marine to project waves of up intense cold and ice, including trapping foes in ice blocks and sheaths.

Weaknesses

One Power at A Time: As mentioned above, one serious limitation to his ultra-powers is that he can only use one at a time. This means that if he wants to fly through space at super-speed he must wear a spacesuit to survive in the cold vacuum. When using his power for super-strength he is not invulnerable and can therefore get tired, feel muscular pain or even pull a muscle.

Magnetic Dissonance: The rings cause electrostatic reactions with each other when used. The Engineer attacked the rings with magnetic pulses to exploit this limitation in his last battle with Ultra-Marine.

Force Fields: The rings are less effective on objects protected by force fields.

Trivia

Telepathic Block: The rings render any level of telepathic attack/intrusion useless for whomever wears them, unless the wearer willingly lets it.

Teleportation: Ultra-Marine has been able to teleport when wearing all the rings, however he does not know how that happened or how to activate it again. When he did teleport, the rings' energy emissions increased a lot just before teleporting

Standard Operating Procedure: While off-duty or incognito, Ultra-Marine always retains his Invulnerability to guard against surprise attacks.

Favorite Past-Time: Ultra-Marine enjoys playing baseball.
