History

Written by: Joshua W. Murcray

Born in the República del Perú to Luis Trujillo and Valentina Coreas, José was raised by his father after Valentina left when he was five years old.

At the age of eighteen José had already learned how to take anything mechanical and make it better. At the age of 10 José had installed home-made solar panels on their house, cutting them off the grid. He had rebuilt his dad's car, turning it into a solar powered gas-free vehicle at the age of 14.

Now, with his technical expertise, José joined the Peruvian military in the hopes of working his way into the government as a contractor who could really help his country.

During his service, José made a name for himself in the Mechanics Division. He was soon promoted to the R&D Division where he was placed in position to integrate new ideas into workable prototypes.

His ability to understand the inner workings of things intuitively led him to developing software for new weapons and armor.

When Nippon-koku began to arm their nuclear silos, José was chosen to be part of an elite task force to infiltrate Nippon-koku and disarm those silos in any way possible. He was one of the top military tech inventors sent in with his squad to Nippon-koku to try and stop/disarm their nuclear arsenal before it was launched. Unlike the movies this did not go well, and Nippon-koku was able to still launch just slightly more than half their missiles. José watched as his men died around him, protecting him from Japanese soldiers only to fail at stopping all the missiles. Instead, José managed to divert most of them to nearby bodies of water, but those he could not stop caused the deaths of millions.

After being arrested by the Japanese military, José was turned over to the United Nations within the hour who sent him back to Peru right after The Great Burn spread over the globe.

Unfortunately, The Quake began as José was over the Pacific Ocean back to República del Perú. Watching from a non-stop flight from Nippon-koku to República del Perú, José could see all the devastation from the bombs being amplified by the power of the global Quake.

Touching down on what remained of the airstrip, José got right to work going from vehicle to vehicle, plane to plane, and building to building checking them and fixing them when he could.

He realized quickly that the roadblocks were going to prevent people from getting rescued or getting medical help, so he quickly made his way to the nearest machine shop and began to piece together a suit of armor that could be used to lift heavy objects as well as fly around or over obstacles.

Within just a few short hours he had his first Aceroala prototype.

At the age of 22, José had become the first documented "superhero" since the disappearance of SUPErMn. Within days, with his suit, he had saved more than a thousand people, stopped dozens of fires, and removed roadblocks for emergency crews to get through.

As each area became easier for other rescue personnel to work in, Aceroala, as people were now calling him, would move on to the next and so on. In just a few months Aceroala had become a national hero for all of the República del Perú and other parts of South America.

Now, despite his new notoriety, Aceroala spends most of his days secluded in his now state-of-the-art warehouse with all his machines, inventions, and tinkers away until he is next needed. Though he still dons the armor for his patrols, having been made an official member of law enforcement in his country, he mostly prefers to leave the peacekeeping to the professionals.

Abilities

Computer Operation: Sometimes compared with ""computer hacking", Computer Operation is a term used to describe the ability of some to design, repair, network, hack, edit, manage and sometimes basically understand the workings of a computer. This includes both hardware and/or software as it relates to computer systems.

Electrical Engineering: Sometimes called "electronic science", Electrical Engineering is a term used to describe the ability of some to use techniques, theories and general knowledge of devices such as semiconductors, resistors, inductors, capacitors, nano-structures, and vacuum tubes. They can apply these electronics for power or information. The designs of electrical engineering usually are essential to computer engineering and many medical fields.

Intelligence: GENIUS: Possessing an extremely high IQ and creative talents.

Master Aerialist and Flight: José is an extraordinary aerialist and flyer due to his practicing and experimentation with his "hard light harness." His experience in martial arts and flight has made him one of the best aerial fighters in the world, exceeding the skills of other flyers such as The Engineer and SUPRgIrL

Fighting Skills: EXPERT: José was trained in Judo, Karate, and various other styles of martial arts. His skills enable him to defeat some of the most remarkable trained opponents in the world.

Master Acrobat: José has undergone more rigorous training in gymnastics and acrobatics.

Mechanical Engineering

Peak Human Condition: Even before his training, José was in very good shape. After years of intensive and extensive training, José is now above average athlete and has pushed his body to the pinnacle of human condition.

Peak Human Endurance: José possesses exceptional tolerance to physical pain. He continued to function in spite of him getting chest stabbed from a sword. He also continued to function after being set on fire from a flamethrower while ripping off his suit.

Physics

Science

Strength: PEAK HUMAN: Over years of extensive training, José's strength is at the maximum limit of human conditioning. He was able to send X-Terminator flying with a single force kick, break steel chains that tied him to a tank, as well as bending a metal bar with his bare hands.

Weaponry: Sometimes called "Weapon Proficiency", Weaponry is a term used to describe the ability of some to understand and use different forms of weapons with proficiency.

Paraphernalia

Body Armor:

Aceroala's abilities vary in accordance with what hardware is currently available to him. He has modified the original weapons systems and suit several times since its debut and continues to refine its abilities. With his engineering, physics and ballistics knowledge, it is conceivable that the suit may potentially possess even greater power in the future.
This new armor grants him certain powers, like:

Computerized Communications and Scanning Array (CCSA): This technology is integral to the armor's technological advantages. The on-board computer comes equipped with high density, flash memory protocols for suit operation, including weapons management, power management, gyroscopic balancing, and analysis of electromagnetic phenomena. This analysis array is directed by a wave-emitter bound to the chest-plate and including weapons analysis and EM field analysis, remote program analysis, and rewrite-able operating system protocols. Based on Aceroala's designs, it allows remote communication and reception of all normal radio, satellite and cellular communication bands. The armor can also receive signals on classified bands such as the Air Traffic Controller wavelengths and the NASA communication protocols. It can be supposed that the armor is also capable of communicating with the National Defense Command of the United Protectorates as Aceroala clearance allows.

Energy Absorption

Energy: S-MEDIUM RANGE: Single form of energy over a medium range.

Energy Resistance: Aceroala has immune systems in his armor to protect him against mind control agents

Durability: ALT-ENHANCED

Force Field

Immunity System: Aceroala has immune systems in his armor to help him fight off computer viruses. It takes about 30 seconds to get rid of the virus, but after the 30 seconds he is free of it. With this ability, whatever computer system that gave him this virus, he will be able to fully control it when he's within a dozen feet of it. This system also protects him against physical mind control agents. The onboard computer can be attacked either with viruses or electromagnetic phenomena that will temporarily override the suit's operation for 30 seconds while the system reboots. This reboot does not stop motor operations and Aceroala retains control of the armor unless the attack damages the boot level operation protocols which are separate from the operating system proper.

Inertial Dampening Field: In his suit's most recent incarnation, he has opted to reduce the physical strength of the suit in exchange for an inertial dampening field. This field would increase his resistance to injury from physical attacks.

Radioscopic Scans: Able to analyze photonic energy given off from an object through readouts the armor gives.

Strength: SUPERHUMAN: LEVEL-75: Aceroala's powered armor increases his strength to the point of lifting between 50 and 70 tons.

Teleportation: This has a limited range of roughly 3,000 miles and requires time to recharge before use.

Hard Light Harness:

An emitter array on Aceroala's back creates holographic "hard light" wings with a maximum wingspan of up to 50 feet (15 m). Controlled by through the helmet, the wings can be instantly reconfigured into "dozens of different cruise configurations." The emitter also possesses GPS jamming devices that prevent satellite tracking, while the hard-light wings interfere with infrared tracking. An Nthbranium-microweave was added to the costume itself, making Aceroala resistant to small arms fire. The entire system is controlled through circuitry in Aceroala's helmet. The body armor has, in the past, featured a hidden "talon," a grappling line built into the gauntlets of his costume which he uses to entangle opponents, hook objects, or for swinging and climbing when his wings are detached. The armor's helmet comes equipped with various capabilities, including infrared lenses, giving him the ability to see objects by their infrared signature at night, magnification capabilities, and remote imaging sensors that allow a full 360° of vision when activated. The helmet also has a wide band receiver and transmitter with an unspecified range. A "magnetic drive," in turn, provides the thrust needed to get Aceroala airborne. The "magnetic drive" is located within his...

Jet Boots: With what are probably his greatest creations, the flight protocols for his armor are every engineer's dream. The distance that can be traveled before refueling is unknown but Aceroala has made a documented trip of at least 1,500 miles before touching down again. It has been determined, by observation, that Aceroala can reach speeds just short of the speed of sound, which is 700± miles per hour.

Weapons

Rivet Cannon: This short-range weapon has fired red-hot rivets like those used in construction.

Kinetic Hammer:

His current hammer can increase its kinetic energy the farther away it is thrown. At a distance up to 20 yards, it can stop a car, 30 yards, a truck, 60 yards, a tank, at distances greater than 60 yards, its destructive capacity rivals that of Superion for damage dealing capabilities.

Inertial Damage Field: This hammer can also store the energy it has gathered along its flight path within the kinetic field and release it on contact with a target (on command), even if its flight is interrupted by a command. It is unknown how long this device can store such energy. This device appears to have the ability to temporarily disrupt temporal/kinetic energy in a localized field and manipulate it for limited effects such as energy transfer based on a linear distance traveled. Such technology may be alien in origin and its owner and manufacturer bear watching because of it. Its power source is also unknown.

Programmable Flight: Can stop in mid-air and be called back into his hands.

Immunity System: Aceroala has immune systems in his armor to help him fight off computer viruses. It takes about 30 seconds to get rid of the virus, but after the 30 seconds he is free of it. With this ability, whatever computer system that gave him this virus, he will be able to fully control it when he is within a dozen feet of it.

Voice Controlled: When Aceroala says "STOP", the hammer will stop in mid-air. When he says "RETURN", the hammer will fly right back into his hands.

Electromagnetic Sensors: The hammer has sensors on it to measure electromagnetic energy.

Electromagnetism: The hammer can create several effects such as an EMP. It can also set itself in tune to the Earth's magnetic field, making it virtually impossible to move. When not using the hammer, he can magnetically attach it to his back.

Weaknesses

Electromagentic Pulses: The armor can be shut down through electromagnetic pulses.

Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome: Suffers from PTSD which manifests on occasion causing him to hide in seclusion from others when too many things start having problems.

Trivia

(Physical Features/Speaking Voice/Likely Vocabulary/Characteristics/Mannerisms)

Amateur Ornithologist: He loves birds.

Hermit: Aceroala is extremely introverted and prefers to work alone in his shop than to work alongside anyone. While this may seem to hinder his performance in a team, it manifests in an intense desire to protect his team and get the mission accomplished quickly and efficiently in order to return to his workshop sooner.
