History
Written by: Joshua W. Murcray

It is a tragic story, and one that may be fully known later, but for now, Booster was a genetic experiment that managed to escape the laboratory and travel to a world where she was sucked in to the glamor of living in opulence.

At first all was well and she looked to become something of a star, until her employer, someone she thought loved her, betrayed her and had her wings removed, to be sold off to a Collector.

Without her wings, she was no longer wanted and was cast out into the street. It was on her own, lost in the Dregs (slums), that she literally began to piece her life back together. Collecting scraps and rebuilding machinery, she found she had a knack for invention.

Like going to a tattoo artist, Booster would occassionaly visit a disreputable cyberneticist who would patch in cybernetic parts in order to allow her to jack right into armor or machines.

Hired on by Corvus Prime she soon found a new life for herself. She built a new battlesuit that gave her back the ability to fly, but that does not stop her from searching for her stolen wings. For she believes that once she has them, she can have them grafted back on and then...then she can truly soar!

Unique Physiology:

Booster is a hybrid. A science experiment that mutated, Booster is a genetic cocktail of different species. She possesses the same enhanced abilities attributed to Eden raccoons, including an acute sense of smell and sharp eyesight; the blue-feathered wings of the Halfwaellan Lunar birds, including the ability to fly in space; and all grafted into a human female cyborg who already had her entire skeleton replaced with cybernetics. Her body is covered in a very thin, brown coat of soft fur, which mostly consists of dense underfur insulating against cold weather.

Dexterity: Alt-Enhanced: Booster's entire skeletal structure is cybernetic, allowing her to move like a human and still be as agile as a raccoon. She can avoid rapid gunfire and escape various prisons.

Durability: Alt-Enhanced: Due to cybernetic implants, Booster can survive damage that would normally be sufficient to kill a human of her small size, and injure a normal-sized human. She withstood getting thrown by a Khreeund and being shot with energy blasts fired by powerful beings such as a drugged Darkstar.

Enhanced Senses: Being a hybrid including animal DNA, many of Booster's senses are heightened to levels well above human. She is able to see much better than the average human and is extremely well adapted to near dark conditions. Her enhanced sense of smell allows her to detect subtle changes in scents around her, enabling her to detect the approach of others and increasing her ability to operate in darkness. With her broad auditory range, she can perceive tones outside the range of the human ear as well as subtle sounds caused by vibrations on the ground. Her hyper sensitive paws allow her to identify objects before touching them with vibrissae located above her claws.

Reflexes: Alt-Enhanced: Booster is able to quickly respond to high intensity situations, such as piloting ships.

Strength: Enhanced: Due to her augmentations, Booster is much stronger than a normal Eden human. She is able to physically overpower people many times her size, and carry a weight of artillery weapons that only the above-average sized humanoid can normally use.

Skill(s)

(See The Grid)

Accomplished Tactician & Strategist: Booster is an instinctive tactical genius, though relatively inexperienced in that field. However, Corvus Prime once told her, "You got the best tactical mind I ever met." She is able to formulate battle strategies with her brilliant tactical sense which allows her to alter many strategies to fit the changing need of the situation.

Demolitions Expert: One of the skills that Booster was considered to bring to the Omega Guardians team, was her demolition expertise which she displayed in the building of powerful explosive devices.

Expert Marksman: Booster is well-versed in the use of high-powered firearms, from all over the galaxy.

Fighting Skills: Master: Booster is a fair combatant as well as proficient armed fighter.

Intelligence: Tech-Enhanced: Booster's cerebral cortex was genetically enhanced meaning that unlike other members of her species she has a cognitive and intellectual equivalent or superior ability to the most sensitive species in the galaxy. She can talk and communicate with other species, as well as perform extremely complex tasks. Booster has an affinity for using and forging galactic artillery, piloting spacecrafts, and quickly devising strategies.

Pilot: Booster is an accomplished starship pilot.

Equipment

Battlesuit: Designed and built by Booster, this battlesuit allows her to fly in space on her own, once more. It also comes equipped with numerous weapons and defense measures. The power source even supplies the energy for her assault cannons. This battlesuit plugs directly into her cybernetics, allowing thought-speed processing and reaction time.

Weapons

Assault Cannons: Detachable handheld energy cannons that can link with her battlesuit or detach for covert use. Each cannon is strong enough to blast a hole through 4-inches of titanium alloy.

Claws: The claws on her hands and feet are dexterist, allowing her to grasp things like a normal human. However, they are also sharp enough to slice through wood and scratch steel.

Fangs: Her incisors are sharp and elongated and can be used in close-combat fighting.

Trivia

(Physical Features/Speaking Voice/Likely Vocabulary/Characteristics/Mannerisms)

Underwear: After spending some time on Eden Booster found that tighty whities were extremely comfortable, airy, and perfect for wearing under her battlesuit...or anywhere.

Voice: If the Amalgam Universe 2.0 were to become a cartoon, the voice of Booster should be Jewel Staite.
