History

Sometime in the beginning of the 40th Century, mankind has realized too late that their robot creations have gained sentience and they had come to the conclusion: Mankind is a virus.

But before this happened, Dr. Tinpra Xagora was a young genius who was quickly becoming one of the leaders in metallurgy and engineering.

But then Armageddon hit. The robots that mankind had developed in order to take over all the labor forces, had aquired sentience and decided that humanity was a virus.

Tinpra was chosen by the world government to be sequestered in a secret underground bunker with the hope of hiding the worlds top minds until the uprising was over. But it never stopped.

The mission parameters were changed and Tinpra joined with other scientists and engineers in an effort to design and build a temporal portal that they could all escape to the past through. It was hoped that all those in the compound would be able to live out their lives in peace, in the past, while also trying to stop the present from occurring.

Life does not always go the way you plan, as the scientist found when all testing proved that organic material would not survive the trip through the portal. This made them turn to the unthinkable. Building android bodies that they could download their subconscious into, in order to make the trip. In order to stop the robot uprising, they would have to lose their humanity.

It took months and dozens of teams coming together to build the android bodies, all without using any form of wireless signals or outside sources as both could be traced to their hidden home. It was Tinpra who designed the basic form that all of the others would base theirs on. They knew it was only a matter of time before they would be discovered, and the unknown drove them to near exhaustion.

The day the robots attacked the underground base, Tinpra was making fine-tuned changes to her android body. The room shook and the android body in the pod next to hers, began to spark and caught fire. Rushing to put it out, another explosion changed her mind and she jumped into the chair they would use to hook into the computers that would transfer their consciousness into the androids.

Tinker was the first to be completely downloaded into her android body and watched from her new form as the others rushed to their chairs. As soon as they all were downloaded, their pods activated and sent through the portal.

Now in the year 2058, Tinker hopes to convince modern humanity of their trust by using her advanced knowledge of metallurgy and engineering to improve the lives she comes across.

Android-body Capabilities:

All Ultrasmiths android bodies have certain abilities due to their construction. These common shared abilities are:

Computer Integration: All Ultrasmiths can freely operate and bond with technology both in tactile and remote fashion.

Energy Discharge: Ultrasmiths can emit energy discharges used as offensive attacks.

Agility: Alt-Enhanced: In spite of their size and construction, Ultrasmiths's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athletes.

Durability: Alt-Enhanced: Ultrasmiths's extremely dense bodily tissues are highly resistant to physical injury. They are able to withstand high caliber bullets, falls from tremendous heights, exposure to extremes in temperature and pressure, powerful impact forces, corrosive materials, and powerful energy blasts without being injured.

Flight Speed: Supersonic: All Ultrasmiths android bodies were designed with anti-gravity generators and mini-thrusters for flight allowing them to fly at supersonic speeds.

Intelligence: Tech-Enhanced: Possessing an extremely high IQ and creative talents due to integration of technological/unnatural means.

Reflexes: Guided: Ultrasmiths's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete. Their onboard programming allow them to almost be guided in their reflexes as their android bodies are able to assess and respond to outside influences.

Land Speed: Supersonic: All Ultrasmiths were designed to reach a top speed ranging from Mach 2 to Mach 4.6.

Stamina: Enhanced: Due to being androids, their bodies were designed to remain constantly active for several hours before connections begin to overheat or power levels begin to drop.

Strength: Superhuman: Level 25: All Ultrasmiths were designed to lift up to 25 tons.

Temporal Alterations:

It came as a complete surprise to all the Ultrasmiths that the trip through the temporal portal would alter their android bodies in any way. As each materialized in 2058, they found that each had been altered. While all shared many of the same alterations, some few of them had additional abilities.

The common shared abilities are:

Elasticity: It is not known how, but all Ultrasmiths now seem to be composed of non-solid parts. At will, each member of the Ultrasmiths can bend and twist their bodies, almost like a gelatinous goo. However, if knocked unconscious, or powered down, their forms will revert to their original solid state.

Quantum Precognition: Ultrasmiths can collect information from quantum ripples bombarding everyone from the past and future. Their Superintelligence then allows them to process that raw data into predictions of the future. Additionally, according to Angãraka, the Ultrasmiths exist on more than one quantum layer. However, regret can actually hinder this ability.

Shapeshifting: The Ultrasmiths has demonstrated the ability to manipulate the shape and size of their bodies to some degree. They can transform their fists into giant blocks and have been seen to increase their height by as much as 10%.

Unique Temporal Alterations:

Some of the Ultrasmiths came out of the Temporal Portal with abilities not shared by all or any of the others. For Tinker, these Unique Temporal Alterations include:

Miniature Star: Tinker arrived in 2058 with a miniature star embedded in her chest. Thanks to this cosmic power source, she could generate superheated plasma from her chest and control it, using it in offensive and defensive ways. Her Miniature Star also does not seem to have a limit, which means her Stamina would be endless.

_____Plasma Blasts: These blue plasma blasts emit from her chest.

Force Field: Tinker can generate a Force Field around her that is capable of surviving a direct strike from a nuclear missile. However, it takes 24-hours to recharge the Force Field generators.

Regeneration: Tinker somehow has the ability to regenerate her android parts. This regeneration could take several minutes depending on extent of damage, but theoretically, this means that Tinker cannot be completely destroyed.

Immortality: In essence, so long as Tinker's Miniature Star remains intact, her personality and programming can be downloaded into any number of surrogate robotic chassis, rendering her virtually immortal.

Engineering: Tinker has a doctorate in Engineering specializing in the study of Metallurgy.

Chemistry: All Ultrasmiths have studied other sciences outside of the ones they specialize in. Along with Metallurgy, Tinker is an expert in the field of Chemistry as it relates to the element of tin.

Self-Esteem: Tinker is the kind and caring member of the group, but unfortunately holds terribly low self esteem and believes that she is not worthy of being part of the Ultrasmiths. She is, however, very brave and is happy to put her life on the line for her comrades. Tinker suffers from a stammer bought on by her insecurity. She hides this insecurity, for the most part, with jokes, sarcasm, and upbeat personality.
