Military Protocol: As a former soldier, he has knowledge of military operations and facilities

Mechanical Aptitude: While not rivaling any major technological geniuses like Mr. Excelsior or Brainim Zoliac, his being part machine grants him knowledge in machines above the common man.

Skilled Engineer: Scrapmetal served several tours in Southeast Asia, studying while in the service to become an aviation engineer.

Skilled Aviator: He is a skilled helicopter pilot.

Skilled Combatant: His military training has made him a very skilled hand to hand combat. He also trained in boxing as a young man.

Skilled Marksman: Aside from his cyberonic weaponry, he is a very good marksman.

Skilled Survivalist: Due to his intense military training, and his cyberonic enhancements, he can survive in harsh condition and environments.

Cyber-Bionic "Cyberonic" Enhancements:

Having suffered a fatal accident, which cost him his physical body, Rupert Wayne was rebuilt as a cyborg by Starshield Labs. His body upgrades included artificial limbs made of Nthbranium and titanium cyberware, surgically implanted life support in his chest cavity, bionic replacement eyes, and cerebral governing circuitry implanted in his brain. Now as a nearly unstoppable cyborg, powered by a synthetic element that was created as a power source for the military called ZPM or Zero-Point Module, his body will never tire or falter and can effectively last forever. His organic tissue has been slowly replaced with nanite-laced trans-organic cloned tissues that look and feel and act as regular organics, but are able to shift and incorporate metal parts when he is growing or replacing lost parts.

All together, these cyberonics provided him with a number of powers/abilities:

Accelerated Probability: With his rapid processing engine, Scrapmetal can predict the most probable outcome of any given situation down to the last fraction of a second.

Computer Analysis: Scrapmetal's brain has been augmented with advanced computational implants which enable advanced mathematical calculus for computing and formulating precise tactical approximations and stratagems for most any given situation. He is able to perform self-diagnostic checks, monitor microprocessors and numerous redundancy systems within his body prevent any major breakdowns that might damage his brain or its ability to communicate with the rest of his body

Eidetic Memory: Scrapmetal possesses a computer-like data storage and retrieval memory, allowing him to recall everything he has seen or experienced, since the cyberonic upgrade, in perfect detail.

Energy Frequency Change: Scrapmetal has learned, over time, he can change energy frequencies, imbibing and amplifying absorbed or internalized energy sources.

_____Energy Absorption

_____Laser Vision: Scrapmetal's cyberonics include energy beams which he can discharge from his optics when connected to his retractable helmet. The helmet is necessary to direct and control the beams.

_____Energy Blasts: His cyberonic chassis enables him to link to his weapons and fire energy from his ZPM through his guns. This is not a fast process and therefore rarely used.

Enhanced Senses: Scrapmetal's sensory receptor range is greatly augmented beyond the human norm.

Flight: He can fly and travel at supersonic speeds.

Infection: Scrapmetal can leech into and afflict most any form of machinery he can focus on. Next to nothing can prevent him from taking over a system he wants.

Magnetism: Generated from his shoulder pads, this ability makes it easier to attract metal for Matter Absorption.

Matter Absorption: Scrapmetal can assimilate volumes of metal into his body in order to maintain a desired physical size. Working in conjunction with his Mechanical Regeneration capabilities he can greatly augment the effectiveness of it.

_____Size Alteration: By drawing in excess mechanical mass he can increase his size to monolithic proportions.

Mechanical Regeneration: Scrapmetal is also capable of assimilating machinery and technology, incorporating outside systems into his cyberonic frame at will. This is accomplished through magna-locks and invasive computer programs to physically and cybernetically link systems to his own. In ideal circumstances, Scrapmetal can assimilate any weapon or device handy instead of pre-constructed interchangeable modules. In hazardous conditions, Scrapmetal can also rebuild himself when damaged by using raw materials, such as cannibalizing the hydraulics of a motorcycle to create new legs, or slapping his disembodied torso onto a tank and co-opting it.

Metamorphosis: Scrapmetal can transform his cyberonic armor into any form he wishes, if he could imagine it he could create or become it. His only limitation is the needed quantity of mechanical mass available to him.

Personal Memory Log: Keeps an internal data bank to jot down his personal progress and experiences.

Self-Contained Life-Support System & Environmental Protection: The armor can be completely sealed for operations in vacuum or underwater, providing its own life support, and is shielded against radiation.

Superhuman Durability: Scrapmetal's cyberonic armor is very durable, capable of withstanding tremendous amounts of punishment. It can withstand high caliber bullets with ease. He can also withstand rockets, torpedoes, and such, although he does take damage.

Superhuman Speed: Even when not traveling for extended distances, the armor enables the wearer to move and react at high speeds.

Superhuman Strength: Scrapmetal's strength level is augmented by his cyberonic components. In default form he can lift/press roughly 75-tons.

Numerous: His entire body is a weapon and his ability to alter his construction in order to create more makes him a walking arsenal. Those weapons that he consistently creates/employs are:

_____Railgun: A powerful high-powered railgun added to his right shoulder, which can fire a single bullet into a target more than 2 miles away.

_____Rocket Launcher: An automatic missile launcher added to his left shoulder, which fires a variety of missiles of any type.

_____Miniature Heat Seeking Missiles: A small version of the heat seeking missile designed to hit the targets emitting heat signatures.

_____Snakeeyes: His handheld rifle is named Snakeeyes as it has sound dampeners, making it almost completely silent, and it deals out death, like a ninja. It is an automatic rifle with a gatling gun barrel that allows him to switch from single shot, to automatic, to gatling gun at will.

Ammunition: As long as he is standing on or near a large source of metal, Scrapmetal will not run out of ammunition. His body can convert the metal into bullets or missiles and feed them directly into his weapons.

Power Supply: He relies on his armor to survive. What was left of his organic body relies upon the cybernetic life support, which in turn draws power from the ZPM embedded in his chest cavity.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): When he was brought back to life in his new cyberonic form, the process caused minor deviations in his genetic code. Because of this, he developed a pathological fear of encasing himself, and has described it as feeling like a coffin to him. He is currently seeking trusted programmers who might be able to extract or block these feelings in his mind.

Blood Type: His blood type is AB positive.

Death: He was officially declared dead on June 8^th. Despite being rebuilt, he changed his name to James Corben, to reflect that he is no longer the same person.

Decorations of Note: Among his many military decorations are the Purple Heart and the Medal of Freedom.

Power Source: The Zero-Point Energy Module (ZPM) is powered at its center by a fragment of a meteorite that emits an energy that never seems to degrade. Oddly, the energy it outputs seems to weaken Predecessor as seen in their first, and so far only, encounter.
