Powers

Alien-Amphibious Physiological Adaptation:

Nereid's powers come from being a member of the sky-people of Venus. Her body is specially developed for swimming through the sulfuric acid clouds on Venus, granting her specialized blood circulation to withstand melting temperatures and highly developed vision to see clearly even in murky atmosphere. This physiology means she can survive indefinitely underwater or on land here on Earth, though she would still need occasional contact with sulfur baths to survive.

Acute Hearing: Nereid has sensitive Hearing

Alien Healing: If injured, Nereid's body can heal damaged tissue faster and more extensively than an ordinary human or most Venusians. It turns out that Nereid's accelerated healing is at its peak while she is immersed in water.

Amphibious Breathing: Like all Venusians, Nereid can breathe indefinitely underwater due to having specialized breathing organs. Unlike most Venusians, however, Nereid can also breathe on land indefinitely as well without the aid of breathing devices (this is what sets her apart as a scout).

Astral Projection

Electricity Absorption - Electro-Magnetic Spectrum Vision

Extended Longevity: Venusians age much slower and live much longer than human beings with the average Venusians lifespan being about 120,000 years.

Extrasensory Input

Flight: Nereid also possesses the gift of flight due to her mental power akin to telekinesis, and her fins merely assist in the process of "steering" her flight.

Heat Vision

Illusions - Infared Vision

Invisibility: Venusians can cause the biopolymers in their bodies to lose their ability to reflect light, making the Venusians invisible to normal light and human sight.

Longevity

Mental Detection: Nereid can sense when other Venusians are in danger within an undefined radius of herself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by them.

Microscopic Vision

Mind Control: As an extension of their Telepathy, Venusians can also use the ability to alter a psychological profile of a target, enabling them to manipulate, and in some cases, outright control that individual. This practice is greatly discouraged however, and only rarely used.

Phasing: Venusians can go through solid matter.

Possession

Regeneration: Venusians have powerful regenerative powers that enable them to regenerate their entire body from a severed limb, they can further enhance their regenerative powers by drawing mass from nearby sources.

Shape-Shifting: Venusians have psionic control of their physical form down to the molecular level. This allows them a form of shape-shifting that allows them to mimic other forms, elongate aspects of their body, increase or decrease their physical size, and so on.

Size Alteration: As an extension of their shape-shifting abilities Venusians can alter their size with ease, being able to shrink or grow to gigantic size.

Super Hearing

Superhuman Agility: Nereid's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Durability: Venusians possess high levels of durability that make them nigh-invulnerable to all forms of damage. Venusians can withstand high caliber bullets, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, powerful energy blasts and kinetic impacts without suffering damage.

Superhuman Reflexes: Nereid's reflexes are heightened and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Speed: Venusians can process thoughts, move, and react at incredible speed, being able to cover vast distances in little or no time, catch bullets in mid-flight, run on water and create afterimages as they run. Her speed improves, however, while swimming.

Superhuman Stamina: Nereid's advanced musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of normal human beings, and most other Venusians for that matter.

Superhuman Strength: Venusians possess vast levels of superhuman strength and are among the few races that are able to match Amaranthine, Stronxamitians or Oansgardians in terms of raw strength. Venusians can easily shatter reinforced concrete and steel, lift and carry hundreds of tons with ease and deliver incredible damage with their blows. While Nereid is immersed in Earth's waters she is capable of lifting 75 tons (although prolonged surface activity could reduce her strength to 33% or lower).

Telekinesis: Venusians have mind-over-matter abilities and can lift and move objects with their minds. They can also employ their telekinesis in offensive way by discharging telekinetic blasts capable of great concussive power.

Telepathy: Venusians have the ability to read the minds of others and project their thoughts to varying degrees. They can also project their mental essences into a gestalt community known as the "Great-Mind". Through this, the community can enhance the telepathic strength of other Venusians. This power can also enable them to reverse the effects of amnesia or psychological brainwashing. A theory suggests this may be similar to the Eternal-Mind of the Amaranthines. If so, it may suggest a connection somewhere in their species' past.

Telepathic Assault - Telepathic Relay - Telescopic Vision

Venusian Vision: Venusian visual acuity greatly exceed human norms and allows for a wider range of information to be observed.

Atlantean Combat: Nereid has been accepted by the Atlanteans and given diplomat status as well as training in Atlantean combat methods.

Multilingual: Nereid is fluent in English, Atlantean, and Venusian languages.

Weaknesses

Vulnerability to Fire: Despite being from a planet that reaches over 800°F Venusians are vulnerable to fire as it burns faster and hotter and can create sulphur dioxide, which is acidic in nature, but also extremely deadly to Venusians who inhale it. A simple match could potentially ignite the residue sulphur in Nereid's lungs causing her to literally burn from the inside.
