At some point in history a young girl committed suicide when her family rejected her because she had fallen in love with another girl. As her last breath escaped her lips a psionic force infused her body, reviving her mind and becoming one. This Dragon Force, taking the name Kuhl, journeyed across the Earth to learn about humanity and to inspire or help those who were oppressed.

Psionics:

Heather Ardeen is one of the most powerful human-born telepaths ever. Heather has repeatedly demonstrated mental psionic energy usage far in advance of all human, Homo Magi and meta-mutants including that of the world-renowned telepaths such as Thunderbird, Onyx and Archimage.

As Kuhl, Heather's most notable psychic actions, so far, are: the complete mental enslavement of an entire warring planet of people, psionically stalemating Spector for an extended period of time, and mentally killing a clone of Thanoyama endowed with psionic powers greater than Thunderbird, as well as being able to pierce the mental barriers of the Grim Reaper and even enabling Thanoyama to almost overwhelm the the Grim Reaper's mind when channeling her powers.

Unlike most telepathic meta-mutants whose powers operate as part of their biology, all of Kuhl's mental powers originate from her supreme level of mental discipline, hence her concentration and ability to focus on the accomplishment of that task. All of Kuhl's mental processes are largely maintained subconsciously as the power and its effects will continue if she is rendered unconscious or falls asleep as done when she controlled an entire planet's populace. But she must always consciously initiate the process for it to be done.

If Kuhl is distracted or unable to focus her mind to accomplish an event, she can be rendered completely mentally powerless as shown when she was held captive with a pair of headphones pumping heavy metal tracks.

Kuhl's three strongest psionic powers are:

Telepathy:

Kuhl possesses the ability to contact sentient minds both organic and mechanical based, as well as cosmic beings such as Chernobog. Kuhl's telepathic range is virtually limitless, as she is able to contact minds scattered throughout a solar system without enhancement devices. Her telepathic abilities include:

Empathy

Mental Amnesia: She can erase any awareness of particular memories or cause total amnesia.

Mental Detection: She can sense the presence of another superhuman within a small but as yet undefined radius of himself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.

Mental Paralysis: She can induce temporary mental or physical paralysis.

Mental Sedating: Can telepathically "sedate" her victims so that, if already rendered unconscious, they remain so for as long as she continues to "sedate" them.

Mind Control: She can control the thoughts and actions of others.

Psionic Blast: She can project psionic force bolts which have no physical effects but which can affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain or unconsciousness and turn someone brain-dead.

Psionic Shield: Ability to erect a psychic shield for protection of herself and of others minds.

Psychic Link

Telepathic Camouflage: She can alter the apparent physical appearance of herself and other people by altering the perceptions of those around her. This can go so far as to make other people believe that the camouflaged people are not there e.g. invisible.

Telepathic Cloak: She can mask her presence and the use of her abilities from being detected by other psions and psychic entities. She can extend these defenses to others around her as well. Cloaking via telepathy is not perfect and powerful psis may notice and 'see' through this ability.

Telepathic Defense: Kuhl can manifest her telepathy in a number of defensive ways.

Telepathic Illusions: She can create realistic telepathic illusions and cause people to experience events which are not actually occurring.

Telepathic Manipulation: She can manipulate other people's minds easily, achieving a variety of effects including Personality Alteration.

Telekinesis:

Kuhl's telekinetic range is low to moderate as she can only levitate herself and one or two others at the same time. Kuhl can "push" her telekinetic ability on herself to attain flight or against another single person as effective concussive blasts.

Dragon Form:

Kuhl can become a superhumanly strong and durable dragon of pure psionic power, capable of faster-than-light speed travel and surviving in outer space without air.

Genius Scientist: Kuhl is an expert in various advanced Amaranthine sciences as well as Earth human sciences.

Leadership

Master Martial Artist: Kuhl is a superb hand-to-hand combatant, trained by the Tibetan monks who were veteran practitioners in martial arts. Having trained herself to be as strong as one of her size and weight can be without having superhuman strength, Kuhl is well versed in pressure points and she has defeated Vigilante in hand-to-hand combat.

Nervous System Control: Mental and physical disciplines gave her improved control over her autonomic body functions, including those of heartbeat, bleeding, breathing, and pain reception.

Concentration: All of Kuhl's superhuman abilities are based on her ability to concentrate. Her body, while brought to the peak of its potential without enhancement, still needs to sleep, eat and breathe. She cannot maintain those levels without rest and replenishment.

Strange Minds: Overpowering different minds can have extremely dangerous effects on Kuhl's psyche. When she was forced to mentally shut down a Drurllon assassin, her interaction with his brain left her in a near catatonic state.
