Avatar Physiology:

As with all avatars, Saanp Paalak (not her birth name) was granted a new form when she was chosen to become the vessel of the Nagini-spirit. Like some Guardians (avatars), Saanp Paalak can revert back to her human form at will. As with most of the present day Chosen Ones, Jeka Sarkissian already had meta-mutant abilities that were enhanced to greater levels when she became the Guardian of Bhārat Gaṇarājya. Those abilities she has shown so far include:

Illusion Casting: Saanp Paalak's powers are based on the senses. When first attending temple, she projected illusions. After her powers were increased by the Nagini-spirit, her illusions became so realistic that the subject of them could not tell reality from her projections. She is now able to affect all of the senses and can shut them down, effectively isolating a person in a prison of their own mind. She has also been granted the power to see through the illusions of the world, be they illusions of size, or distance, or time, or even death.

Night Vision: Even in pure darkness, Saanp Paalak can sense others as she can see in thermal vision as well as use her tongue like a snake to taste the air.

Toxin Immunity: Saanp Paalak has been rendered immune to most toxins via her affinity with the Nagini-spirit.

Marksmanship: She is a skilled markswoman.

Master Martial Artist: She has been rigoursly trained in various martial arts.

Strategy: She is a brilliant and cunning strategist.

Toxicology: She is extremely knowledgeable in the properties and uses of toxins, poisons, and snake venoms.

Battle Armor: Her armor was granted her by the Nagini-spirit and gives her protection against handguns and bladed weapons. Her armor appears on her avatar body but disappears when she reverts to her human form.

Gauntlet of Teleportation: One of her gauntlets allow her to teleport anywhere within the borders of Bhārat Gaṇarājya. It is genetically-locked so it only works when still attached to her.

Fangs & Claws: Each of Saanp Paalak's fingers are tipped with retractable claws that are razor sharp and are capable of rending substances as durable as flesh, bone, wood, stone, and some types of metals. Saanp Paalak also possesses serpent-like hollow fangs that can be used as weapons during close combat situations by biting and injecting her own venom into an opponent. She is also the only one to be able to counteract the effects of her venom.
-----Special Note: She has the ability to alter the effects of her venom before biting someone. She has, in the past, paralyzed some, injected acid in others, killed with various effects and various timing, and even used her venom to heal someone.

Tail: Saanp Paalak's 14-foot long tail allows her to move at 50 mph, leap 30 feet away (or 2 stories straight up) from a coiled start, and crush steel pipes up to 6 inches thick.

Cold-Blooded: Despite being human in nature, as Saanp Paalak, her body becomes colder in temperature and desires warmer climate. While she can still operate in colder weather, even in snow, her thinking and movements become sluggish and her temper becomes shorter. However, should she find a warm body, she will curl up around/near them in order to warm herself and even, at times, rumble/purr her contentment for whoever holds/warms her. She has spared lives and granted favors to those who have kept her warm during particularly cold days/missions.

Introverted: Like most snakes she just wants to be left alone. Jeka Sarkissian is an introvert and when she was Chosen by the Nagini-spirit she was upset about this interruption to her private life.

Resourcesful: During her long human life, Jeka Sarkissian has made great strides in relationships with those in power around the world. In fact, her greatest strengths, as a human, has been her influence, the financial resources at her disposal, her ties to both organized crime as well as politicians (though some consider those two to be the same) and her uncanny luck that has allowed her to cheat death in situations where lesser people would have died.

Temper: Also like other serpents, Saanp Paalak has a quick-temper and can get her mantle up at the slightest provocation. It is when she begins to coil and sway from side-to-side that you need to worry for your life.
