Microwave Energy Generation:

She has the ability to tap into Earth's electromagnetic field and convert it into microwave radiation emissions, which she can utilize in different ways. Microwaves are comparatively short waves of electromagnetic energy. El Fuego continually absorbs microwave energy from her environment, including microwave energy from the stars, and continually broadcasts it at low levels.

_____Microwave Energy Manipulation: In order to use her microwave energy for specific purposes, El Fuego must mentally concentrate, thus causing the microwaves to swirl about her body, creating a visible aura around her and granting her Flight. In order to project the microwave energy towards a specific target, she must mentally "push" some of the energy swirling around her towards that target. She can focus microwaves on a specific target, and cause it to burst into flame, or explode, or melt. She can also sense microwave signals (such as cell-phone signals or even remote-control devices) and disrupt electronics with her own microwave emissions. The nature of El Fuego's power grants her the capacity for large-scale destruction. However, she typically limits how much of her own power she accesses for fear of permanently damaging the planet, its atmosphere, and the electromagnetic field. In space, she is far less inhibited and can access greater levels of ambient electromagnetic energy to fuel her powers.

Microwave Heat Emission: El Fuego can use her microwave energy to generate intense heat. At this point, she can already melt a metal object the size of a cannon almost instantly. She has flown towards a thick wall of solid rock and melted through it so quickly that she could continue flying right through the hole she had melted without pausing.

_____Psionic Disruption: On rare occasions, El Fuego has demonstrated the ability to disrupt the psionic powers of others using her own power; namely, Onyx and Dark Guardian. She is not immune to psychic assault, but when using microwave abilities at a high level she is capable of disrupting it.

Decelerated Aging: It appears that she either ages very slowly or not at all.

Durability: Superhuman: El Fuego is quite durable and able to survive falls from many stories as well as take no damage from conventional gunfire.

Energy Absorption

Enhanced Vision: She has telescopic vision.

Flight Speed: Supersonic: Can fly at a a peak of Mach 3.

Land Speed: Supersonic: She can move at incredible speeds, able to stop on a dime when running at full speed.

Strength: Superhuman: Level 25: She has been shown to easily twist and bend metal with her bare hands as well as leap dozens of feet in the air.

Intense Heat: El Fuego's powers do not grant her any particular immunity to the effects of intense heat other than that generated by microwave energies.

Power Limitation

Vulnerability to Microwave Energy Kickback: El Fuego generates microwaves and projects them away from herself. Her energy hovers around her, but if she is exposed for long periods of time to her own energy, it can result in cellular mutations like cancer. It is hoped that, with time and her new costume, her body will create an immunity to microwaves. Until then, her own powers are slowly killing her.

Birthday: Her birthday is October 18^th.

Breast Cancer Survivor: Until Mr. Excelsior created a new costume for her that siphoned off excess microwave energy, the radiation had given her breast cancer. She had to have both breasts removed.

Gender Confusion: Due to her breast cancer surgery, El Fuego now looks more like a male and uses this to help hide her true identity.
