Sometime in the beginning of the 40^th Century, mankind has realized too late that their robot creations have gained sentience and they had come to the conclusion: Mankind is a virus.

But before this happened, Dr. Andrew Lead was a man in love. His fiance, Dr. Tress Groenig had just agreed to marry him and the two were happy.

But then Armageddon hit. The robots that mankind had developed in order to take over all the labor forces, had aquired sentience and decided that humanity was a virus.

Andrew and Tress were chosen by the world government to be sequestered in a secret underground bunker with the hope of hiding the worlds top minds until the uprising was over. But it never stopped.

The mission parameters were changed and the two joined with other scientists and engineers in an effort to design and build a temporal portal that they could all escape to the past through. It was hoped that all those in the compound would be able to live out their lives in peace, in the past, while also trying to stop the present from occurring.

Life does not always go the way you plan, as the scientist found when all testing proved that organic material would not survive the trip through the portal. This made them turn to the unthinkable. Building android bodies that they could download their subconscious into, in order to make the trip. In order to stop the robot uprising, they would have to lose their humanity.

It took months and dozens of teams coming together to build the android bodies, all without using any form of wireless signals or outside sources as both could be traced to their hidden home. They knew it was only a matter of time before they would be discovered, and the unknown drove them to near exhaustion.

The day the robots attacked the underground base, Tress was killed by a stray brick falling from the ceiling. Damages from the explosion had caused irreparable harm to Andrews android body. This forced Andrew to download himself into the android body designed for his wife.

Now Dr. Andrew Lead, calling himself Andy, must live every day in a female body designed to look like his fiance, trapped centuries in the past, trying to warn humanity of a robot uprising...while looking like a robot.

Android-body Capabilities:

All Ultrasmiths android bodies have certain abilities due to their construction. These common shared abilities are:

Computer Integration: All Ultrasmiths can freely operate and bond with technology both in tactile and remote fashion.

Constitution: Tireless: Ultrasmiths's extremely dense bodily tissues are highly resistant to physical injury. They are able to withstand high caliber bullets, falls from tremendous heights, exposure to extremes in temperature and pressure, powerful impact forces, corrosive materials, and powerful energy blasts without being injured.

Energy: S-Contact: Ultrasmiths can emit energy discharges used as offensive attacks.

Dexterity: Double/Triple-Jointed: In spite of their size and construction, Ultrasmiths's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athletes.

Reflexes: Guided: Ultrasmiths's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete. Their onboard programming allow them to almost be guided in their reflexes as their android bodies are able to assess and respond to outside influences.

Speed: Flight: Supersonic: All Ultrasmiths android bodies were designed with anti-gravity generators and mini-thrusters for flight allowing them to fly at supersonic speeds.

Speed: Land: Supersonic: All Ultrasmiths were designed to reach a top speed ranging from Mach 2 to Mach 4.6.

Stamina: Meta: Due to being androids, their bodies were designed to remain constantly active for several hours before connections begin to overheat or power levels begin to drop.

Strength: Industrial: All Ultrasmiths were designed to lift up to 25 tons.

Temporal Alterations:

It came as a complete surprise to all the Ultrasmiths that the trip through the temporal portal would alter their android bodies in any way. As each materialized in 2058, they found that each had been altered. While all shared many of the same alterations, some few of them had additional abilities.

The common shared abilities are:

Dexterity: Flowing: It is not known how, but all Ultrasmiths now seem to be composed of non-solid parts. At will, each member of the Ultrasmiths can bend and twist their bodies, almost like a rubber band or clay. However, if knocked unconscious, or powered down, their forms will revert to their original solid state.

Reflexes: Predictive: Ultrasmiths can collect information from quantum ripples bombarding everyone from the past and future. Their Superintelligence then allows them to process that raw data into predictions of the future. Additionally, according to Angãraka, the Ultrasmiths exist on more than one quantum layer. However, regret can actually hinder this ability.

Shapeshifting: The Ultrasmiths has demonstrated the ability to manipulate the shape and size of their bodies to some degree. They can transform their fists into giant blocks and have been seen to increase their height by as much as 10%.

Unique Temporal Alterations:

Some of the Ultrasmiths came out of the Temporal Portal with abilities not shared by all or any of the others. For Andy, these Unique Temporal Alterations include:

Mimicry: Andy possesses the unique ability to mimic certain characteristics or attributes of those he makes physical contact with. For example, he has taken on the rock-like hide of Ele'ele 'O Rokk the metal coating of Cable's body, or SUPR_gI_rL's physique. He can only mimic a single attribute at a time and can retain the attribute for up to one hour.

Thus far, the following abilities seem to be the highest level that Andy can achieve when absorbing others Gifts:

_____Constitution: Nigh Invulnerable: By using his mimicry powers, Andy can temporarily increase his physical resistance even further, provided he makes contact with a sufficiently durable being.

_____Dexterity: Uncanny: Due to Andy's ability to mimic anothers abilities, and provided he makes contact with a superhumanly agile being, he can add that beings agility to his own for up to 1 hour.

_____Reflexes: Meta: Due to Andy's ability to mimic anothers abilities, and provided he makes contact with a individual with superhuman reflexes, he can add that beings reflex speed to his own for up to 1 hour.

_____Speed: Flight: Warp Speed

_____Speed: Land: Escape Velocity

_____Speed: Water: Peak Atlantean

_____Stamina: Near-Limitless: Due to Andy's ability to mimic anothers abilities, and provided he makes contact with a individual with cosmic-level stamina, he can add that beings increased energy to his own for up to 1 hour.

_____Strength: Planetary: If Andy were to make contact with beings such as Ragnarök, his strength would be increased to the point of being able to lift far in excess of 100 tons for approximately 1 hour.

Wind Expulsion: Andy is capable of generating and expelling powerful winds from his mouth at speeds of up to 180 miles per hour.

Chemistry: All Ultrasmiths have studied other sciences outside of the ones they specialize in. Along with Linguistics, Andy is an expert in the field of Chemistry as it relates to the element of lead. This is, in part, due to studying ways of masking scanning devices in order to hide from any searching robots.

Communications: Andy has a doctorate in Communications specializing in the study of Linguistics. While human he was fluent in 23 languages. His android self, using the internet of 2058, now has a basic understanding, if not fluency, in all recorded spoken languages on 2058 Eden.

Fighting: Gu'ech

Intelligence: Tech-Enhanced: Possessing an extremely high IQ and creative talents due to integration of technological/unnatural means.

Off-Switch: When Tress Groenig was designing her android body, she knew from her studies that ancient people may become scared of her. So to be sure there was a way she could never become a threat to them, she had a "kill-switch" installed in the armpit of one of her arms. Unfortunately, she had not gotten around to telling anyone about its location, so Andy has no idea which arm the switch is under.

Voiceless: It is a terible tragedy, and an ironic one as well, that the trip through time has rendered Andy's vocal abilities inert. At this moment, the Linguistics specialist has no voice. However, due to the Ultrasmiths developing a modern day version of Bluetooth, Andy can still communicate wirelessly and help with translations.
