History

Written by: Joshua W. Murcray

In 63 AD she fell in love with the son of a royal house who watched her perform. Mother of this royal son hates her so paid someone to remove her. They failed. Just as she was about to die, her meta-mutant gland activated and her body healed itself by filling in her loss of blood with ichor from local plants.

Powers

Unique Physiology:

While her body is human, her veins are filled with the ichor of plants and she feeds by sunlight, soil and water like a plant. While her main power revolves around plants, her power is not as complete as The Green's.

Chlorokinesis:

While her power over pants is impressive, what is more impressive is her ability to give pseudo-sentience to them, giving them an almost animal-like behavior akin to a protective pet.

Due to her body being filled and slowly replaced with plant-like qualities and material, she has increased in power adding the following to her control over flora:

Near-Immortality: While Toxicant has lived for a very long time, it is possible to kill her. It just hasn't happened yet and she keeps managing to get out of attempts.

Pheromone Control: Like a plant releasing its pollen, Toxicant has the ability to control her pheromones to the point where she can alter them to fit her desire and can decide if her victim feels them or not.

Shape-Shifting (Flora): Apparently developed over centuries, Toxicant can alter a plant on the cellular level changing its shape, function and even its ability to think to a limited degree.

Superhuman Durability - Superhuman Stamina - Superhuman Strength

Toxic Immunity: No matter what poison or toxic chemical you give her, she is able to sift it through her body, breaking it down into its basic parts and then releasing it either in liquid, gas, or pheromone form.

Toxikinesis:

As mentioned above, Toxicant is able to instinctively know the molecular make-up of nearly everything she touches or tastes. She is able to gather ingredients just by calling the specific plants to her. Once she gathers them she ingests them, able to combine them into whatever toxin she wishes to produce. These toxins can take several forms which she can produce by bringing the toxin up through her pores to form in whatever structure she wishes it to take.

Abilities

Biochemist:

It is quite surprising to learn that Toxicant has formal training in biochemistry, a field she has been studying, not only in communion with her flora surroundings, but in a true education system. How this is, is unknown, but there are records of her attending lectures and classes. As of this report Toxicant holds a bachelors, a masters, and even a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of the Punjab in Islāmī Jumhūriyah Pākistān.

Botany:

It is not surprising, however, that she does have several degrees in different areas of Botany. In fact, based on her lifespan and intimate knowledge of flora, she is quite possibly the greatest expert on botany in the world.

Formidable Opponent

Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic)

Professional Dancer

Seduction

Toxicology: While she holds no degree for this, based one her powers it is not surprising that she has vast knowledge and experience in this field.

Paraphernalia

Simuloids: Toxicant also uses a unique humanoid plant life of her own creation called "simuloids." They are creatures capable of mimicking human life and possessing rudimentary artificial intelligence. (Many times she has fooled the authorities or escaped capture by using a plant-duplicate of herself.) She has created armies of such plant-life, including at least one 100-foot tall tree-man. Moreover, she can equip these simuloids and personal duplicates with weaponry that can launch poisoned thorns or spores.

Weaknesses

Genetic Defects: Due to her genetic mutation being unstable, without contact with flora to stabilize it, Toxicant would die after a prolonged absence of contact.

Mental Instability: Toxicant speaks to her plants, finds extreme rage towards males and at a certain point sought out the destruction of the human race so only she and her plants would live.

Vulnerability to Darkness: Toxicant requires substantial amounts of solar energy to live.

Trivia

Temperature Control: Toxicant is cold-blooded. While she can hibernate during cold winters, she requires warmth in order to move freely.
