Dr. Theo was, in his beginnings, an immensely wealthy heir, whose wealth nearly matched his boredom at the insipid life he lived as a playboy in his family castle, Caisleán Uí Fhionáin, so he rarely showed up at parties or the like, preferring to devote his time to his true passion; science. He spent vast amounts of money scouring the heavens, and ultimately found the stars themselves routinely bombarded Eden with great amounts of energy, which, unfortunately, he had no means of harnessing.
Not being satisfied with just watching and taking notes, Dr. Theo wanted to feel what this stellar energy could do. So he built a harness, like and exo-skeleton, that could absorb the ambient stellar energy at night, and convert it to usable energy for movement and physical enhancement.
And it worked!
Dr. Theo had captured free energy from the stars, at night, into a harness that construction workers could use for tunneling or shoring up new caverns. For clearing out rubble, carrying heavy quipment, even to provide those who are physically impaired to be a part of the efforts to return to the surface. But the Harness produced a lot of energy and if it wasn't used it would build and begin to burn the wearer. Sir Theo then devised an extension to the suit that was connected by a retractable cord, into a hand-held rod that he at first called a Sonic Screwdriver but then changed the name to Star Scepter. It took months, but he soon was able to fix the overheating from the collected energy, however, he kept working on the Star Scepter in secret.
Patenting and licensing his harness, Dr. Theo created Starman Industries to begin assembling more harnesses and getting them into the hands of those who could use them for improving the infrastructure of the country.
His contribution to the worldwide efforts of recovering from the Great Reset and returning to the surface and rebuilding, earned him a knighthood from the King of England, something had not happened to a member of his family since the mid-1600's.
Today, Sir Theo uses his alter-ego to travel his country and fight crime whereever he can. Because his armor can appear and disapper, he has kept his vigilante-ism from his family who think he is spending his days and nights either at the factory or in his laboratory.
Intelligence: Genius: Sir Theo possesses a brilliant intellect, mastery of several sciences, and a gift for invention.
Gadgetry: In addition to the gravity harness and star scepter, Sir Theo built his own observatory and telescope that, at the time, was one of the most advanced space-viewing telescopes in the country.
Astronomy
Equestrianism: As a wealthy socialite, he bred and raced horses.
Aviation: Always wanting to fly, he became a licensed pilot and even had a hanger built to house his own personal aircraft.
Multilingualism: He speaks Spanish, Gaelic, and Irish, with a bit of German as well.
Skilled Combatant: Sir Theo is skilled in Kendo and an unidentified branch of Karate.
Gravity Harness: The harness would have to be recharged periodically in a night with stars to work.
Star Scepter: The energy blasts can be very dazzling even to its wielder; Sir Theo wore transition contact lenses that darkened instantly with the dazzle.
At first, the Gravity Harness was controlled using buttons and hand movements, and the Harness would connect via Bluetooth to his glasses, projecting a readout for him to see and control with eye movements and blinks. Built to absorb and use stellar energy, the Gravity Harness augments the wearer with the following:
Deflection Shield: The Harness also could trigger a circular wafer-thin force field to deflect incoming projectiles or energy blasts. This can also be used in conjunction with Flight to protect against atmospheric damage at high velocity.
Energy Absorption: It can absorb stellar energy. It could sometimes absorb electricity to dissipate it.
Gravity Manipulation: The stellar energy allowed the wearer to exhibit superhuman strength due to the manipulation of gravitons around themselves and whatever object they were touching. This also means the wearer had the ability to fly and run faster than a normal human as their body weight was countered by the gravity manipulation of the harness.
Magnetic Manipulation: Using magnetism, the wearer can attract or repel living beings or objects to/from tehmselves, much like using the Force.
Radiation Detection: Star Raptor can detect radiation from any part of the island.
Deflection Shield: It can project a circular wafer-thin force field to defelct incoming projectiles or energy blasts. It cannot do this if the Gravity Harness is already producing a Deflection Shield.
Energy Projection: It can project yellow and red stellar energy blasts (these last particularly effective against Stronxamitians).
Gravity Manipulation: The Star Scepter allows Star Raptor to focus the gravitons around a person or object and alter the gravity pull on that person or object.
Heat Emission: The Star Scepter can melt steel.
Magnetic Manipulation: It can attract or repel living beings or objects to/from itself.
The Raptor Amulet that Sir Theo found imbedded in the small meteorite that struck the ground, allows a connection to another plane of existence. Not a new or different dimension, but an extra-dimensional exapanse not seen by most living beings, that seems to exist between the ticks of the clock or the between the light and shadows of this world. A place that seems to be a vast armory, that includes armored androids of some futuristic alien tech, yet seems ancient by those who see them. Based on his studies, Sir Theo believes that whoever activates the Raptor Amulet will switch physical locations with the armored android and, while their body rests in suspended animation, their mind inhabits the android body. A problem with this is that, due to the Gravity Harness worn by Sir Theo, the only transference is when the armor of the android appears on Sir Theo, still in his human form. Somehow the Gravity Harness repels the android body, so it is Sir Theo under the suit of armor.
Due to the armor's raptorial appearance, Sir Theo has taken to calling it the Raptor Armor. The Raptor Armor is advanced Shi'tha'nar'ian technology enmeshed with magic, allowing the host numerous superhuman capabilities:
Agility: Graceful
Armament Conjuration: The Raptor Armor can summon weapons from the extra-dimensional expanse from whence it came, or manifest desired munitions from its own body at will.
Concussion Blasts: He can fire blasts of destructive dark energy (possibly from the extra-dimensional exapanse) from the amulet now embedded in the Gravity Harness.
Durability: Superhuman: Star Raptor is superhumanly durable; he is capable of shrugging off physical impacts, energy blasts, and most artillery fire.
Flight Speed: : His cape can stiffen and link to his arms on the underside as well as his sides and back, giving him retractable glider wings allowing him to glide on air currents. Star Raptor can also fly at speeds that let him fly from Nouvelle Angoulême Protectorate to the California Protectorate in only a matter of a couple hours (1,398 mph or 2,249 km/h).
Healing/Self-Repair: : The damages to the Raptor Armor are self-repairing, sometimes taking several minutes for a complete rebuild if a majority of it was blasted away. Injuries to Sir Theo himself will take longer to heal, but still be above Peak Human, as the Raptor Armor produces enzymes and a dermal regenerator to speed the process. The longer he wears the Raptor Armor the more he heals.
Mode Shifting: The Raptor Armor can morph itself into a host of augmentative forms. Becoming transparent, doubling body armor, projecting greater weaponry, etc.
Reflexes: Superhuman
Strength: Superhuman: The Raptor Armor enhances Sir Theo's strength to superhuman levels. Able to knock out Éadóchas.
Vision: Superhuman Vision: Star Raptor has telescopic and infra-red vision. He can see through most camouflage.
Faith: While he professes to be an atheist, Sir Theo has yet to renounce his Catholic Christian beliefs and practices.
Sir Theodore Fanning owned a thoroughbred named Saoirse (pronounced SEER-shuh - means "freedom" in Irish).
Voice: If Amalgamated Chronicles were to become a cartoon, the voice of The Right Honourable, Sir Theodore Powell Fanning, Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Doctor of Astrophysical Sciences should be Andrew Garfield.
