Energy Manipulation:

Skyfire possesses the ability to summon and manipulate as-yet-unknown forms of energies that radiate both heat and thrust. These energies, which he taps by conscious effort, can be projected from any part of his body. Usually projected from his hands, the thermal energy has a maximum temperature of 5,000°+ Fahrenheit (sufficient to boil steel alloys) and the thrust energy has a maximum concussive force of 275 pounds per square inch (sufficient to topple a filled garbage truck at 100 feet). He can willfully lower the thermal energy's temperature to a minimum of 120°F and can project the thrust energy alone. Skyfire's body is immune to the detrimental effects of wielding his power.

Durability: METAHUMAN: It has been speculated that Daniel's powers may make him immortal, and indeed on one occasion he survived being poisoned when someone slipped rattlesnake venom into his drink.

Energy Absorption: Skyfire can absorb and channel ultraviolet radiation.

Energy Projection: SUPERHUMAN: Skyfire can harness the energy that he absorbs and release as concentrated blasts of solar energy or streams of flame from his hands. Skyfire's energy projection is a form of Pyrokinesis.

Speed: Flight: SUPERSONIC: By projecting energy beams below him, Skyfire is able to produce sufficient thrust to fly. Although he could theoretically fly at supersonic speeds, he is limited by the maximum speed at which he can still breathe, approximately 130 miles per hour.

Sun Manifestation: Whenever Skyfire summons his power for the first time after a period of disuse or concentrates upon summoning all the power he can at once, he is surrounded by a huge (about 100 feet or more) fiery manifestation of energy in the shape of the sun. Whether he is subconsciously willing the energy into this form or whether the energy somehow projects this form is not yet known.
