Power Negation: Shutdown can project a dampening field out from her body that disables any additional neural pathways found in the human brain, temporarily blocking access to any extra-normal abilities (including: other meta-mutations, extraterrestrial, magical, etc.) so long as they are within range of her field's variable radius, which is approximately 10 yards. Some physical effects, such as being thin, may also occur depending on the nature of the powers that she negated. At first, she could only do this when she felt threatened, but with practice, it now is constant, though the area of the affected field will sometimes enlarge when she is threatened or in stress.
Psychokinesis: She is able to disintegrate shape-shifters into protoplasm with her mind. While they do eventually recover, this ability renders them inert for an indeterminate amount of time.
