Sometime in the beginning of the 40^th Century, mankind has realized too late that their robot creations have gained sentience and they had come to the conclusion: Mankind is a virus.

But then Armageddon hit. The robots that mankind had developed in order to take over all the labor forces, had aquired sentience and decided that humanity was a virus.

Dr. Patricia Humphries was chosen by the world government to be sequestered in a secret underground bunker with the hope of hiding the worlds top minds until the uprising was over. But it never stopped.

The mission parameters were changed and she joined with other scientists and engineers in an effort to design and build a temporal portal that they could all escape to the past through. It was hoped that all those in the compound would be able to live out their lives in peace, in the past, while also trying to stop the present from occurring.

Life does not always go the way you plan, as the scientists found when all testing proved that organic material would not survive the trip through the portal. This made them turn to the unthinkable. Building android bodies that they could download their subconscious into, in order to make the trip. In order to stop the robot uprising, they would have to lose their humanity.

It took months and dozens of teams coming together to build the android bodies, all without using any form of wireless signals or outside sources as both could be traced to their hidden home. They knew it was only a matter of time before they would be discovered, and the unknown drove them to near exhaustion.

Android-body Capabilities:

All Ultrasmiths android bodies have certain abilities due to their construction. These common shared abilities are:

_____Computer Integration: All Ultrasmiths can freely operate and bond with technology both in tactile and remote fashion.

_____Energy Discharge: Ultrasmiths can emit energy discharges used as offensive attacks.

_____Dexterity: Effortless: In spite of their size and construction, Ultrasmiths's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athletes.

_____Durability: Indomitable: Ultrasmiths's extremely dense bodily tissues are highly resistant to physical injury. They are able to withstand high caliber bullets, falls from tremendous heights, exposure to extremes in temperature and pressure, powerful impact forces, corrosive materials, and powerful energy blasts without being injured.

_____Fighting: KudanHura'

_____Intelligence: Tech-Enhanced: Possessing an extremely high IQ and creative talents due to integration of technological/unnatural means.

_____Reflexes: Alt-Enhanced: Ultrasmiths's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete. Their onboard programming allow them to almost be guided in their reflexes as their android bodies are able to assess and respond to outside influences.

_____Speed: Flight: Hypersonic: All Ultrasmiths android bodies were designed with anti-gravity generators and mini-thrusters for flight allowing them to fly at supersonic speeds.

_____Speed: Land: Supersonic: All Ultrasmiths were designed to reach a top speed ranging from Mach 2 to Mach 4.6.

_____Stamina: Immeasurable: Due to being androids, their bodies were designed to remain constantly active for several hours before connections begin to overheat or power levels begin to drop.

_____Strength: Industrial: All Ultrasmiths were designed to lift up to 25 tons.

Temporal Alterations:

It came as a complete surprise to all the Ultrasmiths that the trip through the temporal portal would alter their android bodies in any way. As each materialized in 2058, they found that each had been altered. While all shared many of the same alterations, some few of them had additional abilities.

The common shared abilities are:

_____Elasticity: It is not known how, but all Ultrasmiths now seem to be composed of non-solid parts. At will, each member of the Ultrasmiths can bend and twist their bodies, almost like a rubber band or clay. However, if knocked unconscious, or powered down, their forms will revert to their original solid state.

_____Quantum Precognition: Ultrasmiths can collect information from quantum ripples bombarding everyone from the past and future. Their Superintelligence then allows them to process that raw data into predictions of the future. Additionally, according to Angãraka, the Ultrasmiths exist on more than one quantum layer. However, regret can actually hinder this ability.

_____Shapeshifting: The Ultrasmiths has demonstrated the ability to manipulate the shape and size of their bodies to some degree. They can transform their fists into giant blocks and have been seen to increase their height by as much as 10%.

Unique Temporal Alterations:

Some of the Ultrasmiths came out of the Temporal Portal with abilities not shared by all or any of the others. For Coppertop, these Unique Temporal Alterations include:

_____Power Overwhelming: In addition to all the other abilities she possesses, the one that gives her the most respect among her peers is her sheer power. Her copper-based wiring and casing somehow conducted the power of the temporal portal into her, and gave her overwhelming power. She emits power like the sun emits light. She has to work to limit her output. Just standing near her can recharge any power source and if she were to ever let loose and release a full-powered blast, she could obliterate whole planets.

Her internal power seems to still be connected to the temporal power, allowing her to draw power from between dimensions. She will never grow tired, nor is there any currently known mortal being strong enough to drain her of energy.

She is also a perfect conductor of energy, and when her back opens and her energy conductors emerge, she is either about to reduce something to atoms, or she is prepping to absorb and reflect a tremendous amount of energy. It is not lost on the rest of the team that the meekest, most timid member of the Ultrasmiths, has become the most powerful of them all.

_____Energy Blasts: Whatever form of energy she absorbs, Coppertop can emit either from her eyes, hands, or emitters that retract into her back. Her only limitation is line-of-sight. She can emit multiple forms of energy in multiple directions and multiple lengths of distance, all at once.
