To begin, this movie had just about everything you can hope for in a Transformers movie, but the best part, in my opinion, was the story.

The movie is really long, clocking in at about 2 hours and 40 minutes. Personally I didn't mind as, to me, it meant more movie for my money.

It takes a little while to get through the first half as the story is built up and a brief history of what has been going on since the last movie is explained.

I have to admit that I'm glad they did that. My friend, Matt, was really concerned that the gap between movies would be ignored or not explained fully, but they did a really good job of filling in the gaps and bringing you up to speed.

Mark Wahlberg does a fantastic job portraying Cade Yeager, an inventor dad of a teenage girl (played by Nicola Peltz), who is down on his luck and barely scraping by financially.

On the other side of the story is multi-billionaire Joshua Joyce, played by the amazing Stanley Tucci, and his government partner-in-crime Harold Attinger, played by Kelsey Grammar.

If you know me, you know that I don't like giving out Spoilers. And I'm not going to this time, either.

However, I will say that when the Dinobots (as seen in the trailers) finally arrive in the movie and the scenes are pretty epic! In fact all the scenes with the Transformers is pretty amazing and not there just to show off their vehicle forms.

Granted it's a Michael Bay movie and his Chase Scenes are long and intricate, but they are also necessary for the story and not just a gratuitous action scene.

For those thinking of taking your children, please don't. Think carefully about the rating it's given (PG-13) and realize that children under 13 years of age may not enjoy the movie as much as you might hope. There is some cussing, including at least one use of the F-word. There's no nudity that I can recall, but the death scenes of the Transformers is pretty graphic and could be viewed as scary to young children.

But, all in all, this movie was quite possibly the best Transformers live-action movie they have ever made.

But that's just my opinion. You should definitely go see it.
