Science Fiction Truth?

I've been thinking a lot, lately, about Star Wars. Mainly because of the following picture that was posted on Facebook some time back.

Ancient Droids in Indian Jones

At first I thought it was funny. Then I started really putting some thought into it. Why? Because right after I saw that I saw this:

ET is a Jedi

Okay then. Now I'm onto something and my theory seems to be panning out.

“Keep in mind this is all in my head and I have no proof to back this up. After all this is only make-believe and science-fiction. Maybe even considered a Conspiracy Theory to some.”
- Me, 2014

What theory? Allow me to explain.

If you are a Star Wars fan than you know the opening line of the movies is always: A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

So the movies and the characters are all from a distant past...at least to us. In the past there were humanoids wandering the cosmos with battles between those who used the Forces of nature for good and those who used it for evil. They came to be known as Jedi and Sith. During the time of the Jedi there was one really powerful Jedi named Yoda. As the above picture goes on to show that the aliens we call E.T. were a race in that galaxy. They had the ability to travel the stars AND they knew and revered the Jedi.

Humanoids that look very much like humans of Earth, were very prevalent in that galaxy. Keep that in mind as I now dive into another science-fiction universe.

Over in the Star Trek world (yes I'm combining Star Trek and Star Wars, now hush) there comes to be an ancient race known as the Preservers.

"The Preservers were a highly-advanced alien race who passed through the galaxy rescuing primitive cultures in danger of extinction, and seeding them on other worlds where they could be allowed to grow and thrive."

They were passing through. No where do I read that they were natives to our galaxy. Which makes me think they were beings from another galaxy. Possibly one from far, far away. According to Memory Beta the Preservers were in operation here in our galaxy back during the era of 38,000 BC. But that is just a hypothesis. It does say that the Preservers placed the barrier around our galaxy in order to protect it. Possibly from a fleet of Sith attempting to subdue another galaxy? Maybe they (Sith) left the old galaxy and were only just arriving, but the Preservers beat them to it. Maybe it was an actual being of pure Force that they were running from? I don't know.

According to the Memory Beta the Preservers disappeared around 18,000 BC.

Now try to keep up with me here because we are switching sci-fi again. This time we are headed to Stargate.

ET is a JediAccording to Stargate wiki the Stargates were developed and placed by a group of Ancients who were actually Alterans who had left their home galaxy and come to the Milky Way. Does this sound familiar? Apparently in their home galaxy the Alterans had grown to a point where their society had split. One believed more in science, and the other believed more in religion. The religious ones, known as the Ori, worshipped non-coporeal beings that looked like evil bits of flame. In fact, the Ori became feared due to their power. Sounds to me like Sith Lords.

But the Ancients, who still called themselves Alterans came to our galaxy and helped "seed" numerous worlds. Like the Preservers.Zero Point Energy Modules

The Ancients also built vast technologically advanced cities, ships, and gateways that allowed them to travel from planet to planet. They built their finest city in what would one day be called Antartica. they powered their creations using a vast power source sealed in a crystal we call a Zero Point Energy Module.

But Earth soon became too cold and overpopulated for them and they left, taking their city with them.

StargateHowever, they left behind a vast network of stargates throughout the galaxy...and beyond.

Where am I going with this?

In the picture above that talks about ET, it states that when ET came to Earth he was able to lift things with his mind and even communicate telepathically. He recognized someone who was dressed as Yoda. But Yoda lived and died a long time ago? Yes, but being someone who was revered by the Jedi, his image and life-story are probably passed down through the ages. His teachings and wisdom are used to instruct young Jedi. I believe, as the picture states above, that ET was a Jedi padawan who had gotten lost from his Academy ship.

Okay that connects ET to Star Wars and then to Earth, what about the rest?

As the picture of Indiana Jones shows, there are ancient carvings of R2-D2 and C-3PO here on Earth. Why? How did they get there? Perhaps this picture may help answer that.

Nerdy Fact 242

According to this, the Millenium Falcon landed on Earth more than 126 years ago. But what if R2 and C-3PO were also on board? What if the Imperial Fleet that was pursuing them was shooting and blew a hole in the side of the Falcon? What if the two droids were trying to either fix the damage or escape the collapse of the hull and got sucked into space...while in a blind hyperspace jump? That means they could have landed on Earth farther in the past than Solo did. Like in ancient times. They would be worshipped as metal gods and their likeness would be carved in stone. In a temple that would later be unearthed and explored by Indiana Jones. The same man who discovered the remains of Han Solo.

Oh, by the way, if Chewbacca was still alive, then he is probably also the originator of the Bigfoot sightings and possibly IS Bigfoot himself.

Now, we have explained why ET recognizes Yoda. We have explained how a Jedi did visit Earth and now we have linked the Preservers from Star Trek to the Ancients of Stargate. That's right, I believe the Preservers and the Ancients are the same people. But that's not all.

Remember how I said the Ancients built a vast network of stargates? They even left their writings for future descendants to find and interpret. Writing that looks fairly iconic. Which may be why future archaeologists may tag them with the name: Iconians

In fact more stargates, of a somewhat primitive design, are found by future Starfleet officers on or in alien worlds. Gates that look a little like this.

Iconian Gate

These future explorers would travel the galaxy using starships powered by a crystal energy source called Dilithium.dilithium

While this Dilithium has proven to be a tremendous energy source, I wonder if it is as powerful as a ZPM or maybe, just maybe, the Ancients also seeded worlds with these crystals knowing that they were the source of their ZPM's and that more would be needed in the future.

To further this point, do you remember the episode of Star Trek (The Original Series) where they hit the Galactic Barrier and two of their members get "changed?" Those members start using powers. Powers like controlling minds, moving objects, that sort of thing. One of those members turned evil. What if this Galactic Barrier that was placed to protect us, was protecting us from pure Force? What if the Enterprise cracked that barrier allowing two of their members to become users of the Force?

Furthermore, remember how Obi Wan said that if he was struck down he would become more powerful than Vader could possibly imagine? Yet we never saw that happen. What if he did become more powerful? What if he was with the Preservers when they came to our galaxy? What if he gathered a bunch of other transcended Ancients together and formed a Continuum to be on the lookout for any evil-Force that breaks through the Galactic Barrier? What if Q is a member of that Continuum? That would mean Q is actually a transcended Ancient from Stargate, or an long-evolved Preserver, or even, *shock and dismay* a long dead Jedi?

Keep in mind this is all in my head and I have no proof to back this up. After all this is only make-believe and science-fiction. Maybe even considered a Conspiracy Theory to some.

Conspiracy Theorists

As some conspiracies have been proven correct...who's to say about this one?

But before you cast judgement, let me ask you this. With ET and Indiana Jones done by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, and Star Wars done by George Lucas...why on Earth would they match up some of their "mythology" with that of Star Trek or Stargate?

Unless, they are all trying to tell us something?

To prepare us for the possible meeting of real Extra-Terrestrials?

I don't know.

Do you?

Texas Chili Cook-off

COMEDY

Texas Chili Contest

This is one of my all-time FAVORITE humorous stories!!

If you can read this whole story without tears of laughter running down your cheeks, then there's no hope for you!

For those of you who have lived in Texas, you know how true this is. They have a Chili Cook-off about the time the Rodeo comes to town. It takes up a major portion of the parking lot at the Astrodome.

IMAGINATION

Now...About Those Transformers

In a previous article I wrote about how an idea can capture me, lead me into a long project, and then leave me high-n-dry with no way of actually implementing the idea.

Today I would like to talk about another idea that has stayed with me and been a constant source of irritation.

This new idea occurred right after watching the first Transformers live-action movie (not the 1986 animated one). In that movie (which GMC paid to be the major sponsor of) all the Autobots became GMC vehicles (well, except maybe Optimus Prime).
